Free Patterns

Welcome to my Free Pattern section! Here you’ll find projects of all different types that reflect my love of kawaii things. I like to share patterns that are beginner-friendly so newbies can try out sewing without a lot of risk, patterns for established characters since they don’t infringe on the creator, and patterns that are experimental and unusual so maybe we can both learn something from them. Enjoy your browsing!

  1. Hello! I just wanted to clarify that in your FAQ you mention your patterns are free to make plush of and then to sell them, as long as it does not include copyright characters. Does this mean that such projects as the eeveelution pouches and the like are for personal use only?
And additionally I’d like to thank you for putting out these patterns! They’re all adorable and high quality, it’s really reinvigorated my want to learn more about sewing plush recently! Not to mention the embroidery files, which I have been wanting to try for ages now but without a digitizing program I couldn’t find a whole lot to work with.

    • Hello!
For copyrighted characters, you can basically sell them at your own risk 🙂 Since there’s a chance that if you sell them online you might get a take-down notice. Some franchises are okay with a bit of fan-art here and there but they may change their mind on a whim. If you were to do an original spin on the base design then you’d be completely in the clear, though 😀
I am glad you like the patterns and embroidery though! I hope you’ll enjoy what’s to come in the future ♥

    • Thank you! I certainly plan to add more 🙂 It’s difficult to decide which to do first since everyone has a different favorite, but it’s definitely in the works ♥

  4. If we could get some polar bear patterns, that would be amazing! They’re my favourite animal, and your patterns are so easy to follow!

  5. Hello I am a 12 year old girl who loves your patterns and loves sewing ❤️ Do you think you could do a border collie pattern? It’s just a suggestion, my dog I a border collie, and I really want to sew a plush of her. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

  7. Or If not, can you do a stranger things demigorgon? You don’t have to but I would really like to sew it and give it to my friend do ❤️ Stranger things. 😁😁😁

    • Thank you so much for the suggestion! I’ll certainly consider it should I get more requests in the future ♥
And thank you for the kind words about my work! I’m glad you’re enjoying the patterns ^_^

  8. Do you have a sewing pattern please of an elephant that could be made as a memory/keepsake memento?

    • Hello! Unfortunately I don’t have an elephant pattern at this time, but I’ll certainly consider it for the future should I get more requests! Thanks so much for the suggestion ♥

  9. Hello, so I’ve now done all of the eevelutions, including a shiny or two, and just today made a Charmander using your blob design as a template. Here’s my question: I’ve gotten a request to make Lapras, and I was wondering if you had any suggestions on how to do the shell. The idea of doing the spikes is rather daunting. My only current idea involves minky dot fabric where I ignore the correct spike placement, but I’m not fond of that idea.

    • Hello! Regarding a Lapras, I think I personally would attach each spike separately by hand, since you could get the correct placement that way 🙂 For the shape of the shell, you may be able to just copy that part of the Lapras’ back and make it slightly larger so it still fits snugly.
I hope that might help point you in the right direction!

  10. Howdy! All of these designs are so cute! Though, dinosaur plushies sound amazing, so do all of the other suggestions I’ve seen in the comments so far, thank you for making all of these free too! I think one day I’m going to use a lot of these such as the hooded cowls, etc! Pusheen plushies would be really adorable, too! Same with Toontown patterns! I can imagine an adorable pattern of Doodles, Toons, or anything, really! These are really good Halloween ideas, ways to carry/store things, and much, much more! I wish you and your blog good luck! If you are unsure of what Toontown and Pusheen are, I am pretty sure they would be easy to find on Google.

  11. I love that you give out free patterns!! I am all ways on the search for free patterns and it was so hard to find good ones. And your patterns are the best!

  12. Could you add all the Friday freebies that are in the home section to this please? And also could you make a free dragon plush? Dragons are my favorite and I think a dragon blob would be fun.

  13. Hi, I’m a big fan of yours and i also really love anime so, maybe you could make some anime theme items if so Thank you!

  14. Hey, just wanted to say thank you for making these super cute plushie patterns free! I really appreciate it as a very amateur sewer aha, I’m going to try to make some of these as presents for Valentine’s Day, birthdays etc. Again, thank you so much!

  15. Hi but this looks like it needs to be updated because there isn’t some of the plushies that are on the home page (not trying to be rude sorry!)

  16. All of these are beautiful! Thank you for making these patterns. There is only one problem with them; how do you decide which one to make 1st?

  17. Hello! First of all, I want to say how much I love your patterns! I have spent a lot of time working on these little plushies. There are two things I wanted to ask you about. The first being is if you will ever make spoon flower fabric for your reversible dragon patterns, and the second being is if you will ever release patterns (or add-ons for your pre-existing dragon patterns) based on the characters from the book series Wings of Fire, it’s a really good series. I plan on using your patterns for fairs at the local primary school in summer and winter(with credit of course).

  18. Hey. First off, I LOVE your patterns. While usually not at full size, I make most of the bags at 1/6 for my dolls (you can see them on Instagram, I credit you in the hashtags). Second, I had a question/suggestion for you: can you make a bunny pattern? Something soft, cute, and possibly able to hide things in a pouch or something, like little easter eggs?

    • Thank you for the kind words about my work! I’m so glad you’re enjoying the patterns! ♥ And thank you for the suggestion 🙂 if I should get more requests for something like that I’ll certainly consider it!

  19. I LOVE your projects they are so happy and whimsical. My daughter has made many of your designs to help with her anxiety. They are well loved by the children she shares them with, many of the children have special needs and never go anywhere with out their dragon, Totoro, nine tale fox spirit, etc. Thank you for sharing your talents with us! Keep up the great work. We love coming and planning our next project. You’ve made our corona virus lockdown worthwhile and productive!

    • Wow, thank you so much for the kind words! I’m so touched and happy to hear that my patterns have helped! I hope you and your family stay healthy and safe during this stressful time! ♥

  23. I just found your site through Pinterest, and I am so excited to print off some patterns and make some of these! My husband loves Axolotls, and our roommate loves bats, so I’ll definitely be starting with those two patterns 😊 these patterns look like the perfect thing to help me hone my sewing skills

  24. Thank you so much for making so many gorgeous plushie patterns free for us to make… I really appreciate your work… though it is definitely tough to decide what to make first as there are so many that “tickle-my-fancy” 😉

  25. Thank you the free patterns! They are all adorable.

  26. Thankyou for the free pattern

  27. I know it might not fit in the genre above, but do you have a free elephant plush, I can’t find a good one to make. I see many photos on different sites and in Pinterest, but no patterns or not free. So I was just hoping since you make such nice plushies. Thank you

    • Hello! I don’t currently have a pattern for an elephant, but I’ll certainly consider it for the future! Especially if others suggest it as well 🙂 Thanks so much for your input!

  28. Hello! I am a amateur sewer and i absolutely love your job. I already made a few patterns such as the Moon kitty headband and the sloth plush, i was wondering if you could make a frog plush aswell?

  32. Hey, I was wondering if you could add more couple plushies that are easy to make. I love the Koi but it is to hard for me to make. Thank you.

  33. I’m in love with these ❤ I was wondering, is it possible to do the embroidery on some of these with just a regular sewing machine? Thank you 🙂

  34. Your patterns are actually amazing you are so talented. Thank you for putting these out into the world.

  35. this is a little random, but what do you do with all the plushies you make for the pattern pictures?? do you sell them? keep them? give them as gifts? :0 i just thought of that as i was scrolling ..youve had to make a LOT!! anyways, thank you for all your hard work, i adore your patterns ❤

  36. could you make a bear or bernese mountain dog plushie pattern

  37. Oh yeah and a cute elephant. I have tried a few elephant patterns and can’t get the gusset in right. I retried a new piece(s) and yet no luck. I am afraid I might end up with a small fabric elephant grave yard.
And of course, best friend loves elephants, 🙂

  38. I love all your patterns. I did turtle. It’s too good. My daughter loves elephant. Do u have pattern for elephant

  39. Hey I just want to say I LOVE YOUR PATTERNS it´s so easy to understand, I made three plushies so far! I have sewing experiences already but I´m sure a beginner can of most of them as well! And I have one question, I don´t know if it´s possible with copyright, but if it is, is it possible for you to make patterns for animal crossing characters? There aren´t that many, sadly, I woul even pay for them haha, but yhea, you´re doing a great job, keep it up!*-*

  40. Thank you so much for putting these together! As someone who is both desperately angling for “cool aunt” status, and in a quarterly nerdy craft exchange, you patterns are definitely giving me a leg up! Your Totoro bag pattern made for a huge hit at my last craft exchange, and I’m in the middle of finishing up matching T-Rex plushies for my nephews. Your patterns are the absolute cutest, and super easy to follow! Can’t wait to dive in on the next project!

  41. So many great patterns I love them. got a couple to try to make for my kids and Grandkids Thank you!

  42. do you think you could make a flamingo?

  43. Have you done stitch from lilo and stitch? Fennec fox would be a close cousin to him!

  44. Thank you for being my only source of fun during quarantine; over the past few months I have been sewing a bunch of your patterns. I love your website and your clear instructions and I LOVE your collection of stuffed animal patterns. I would love if you could add some dragons to the mix (easy, beginner stuff) because I am only 12 years old so my parents won’t let me buy anything off of your Etsy account. (Also, I live in the Middle East, so it’s kinda hard to get stuff shipped here)

    Thank You,

  45. hi, could u possibly make a cute grizzly bear or bernese mountain dog plushie pattern
