Free Patterns

Welcome to my Free Pattern section! Here you’ll find projects of all different types that reflect my love of kawaii things. I like to share patterns that are beginner-friendly so newbies can try out sewing without a lot of risk, patterns for established characters since they don’t infringe on the creator, and patterns that are experimental and unusual so maybe we can both learn something from them. Enjoy your browsing!

  1. Hello! I just wanted to clarify that in your FAQ you mention your patterns are free to make plush of and then to sell them, as long as it does not include copyright characters. Does this mean that such projects as the eeveelution pouches and the like are for personal use only?
And additionally I’d like to thank you for putting out these patterns! They’re all adorable and high quality, it’s really reinvigorated my want to learn more about sewing plush recently! Not to mention the embroidery files, which I have been wanting to try for ages now but without a digitizing program I couldn’t find a whole lot to work with.

    • Hello!
For copyrighted characters, you can basically sell them at your own risk 🙂 Since there’s a chance that if you sell them online you might get a take-down notice. Some franchises are okay with a bit of fan-art here and there but they may change their mind on a whim. If you were to do an original spin on the base design then you’d be completely in the clear, though 😀
I am glad you like the patterns and embroidery though! I hope you’ll enjoy what’s to come in the future ♥

  8. Do you have a sewing pattern please of an elephant that could be made as a memory/keepsake memento?

    • Hello! Unfortunately I don’t have an elephant pattern at this time, but I’ll certainly consider it for the future should I get more requests! Thanks so much for the suggestion ♥

  9. Hello, so I’ve now done all of the eevelutions, including a shiny or two, and just today made a Charmander using your blob design as a template. Here’s my question: I’ve gotten a request to make Lapras, and I was wondering if you had any suggestions on how to do the shell. The idea of doing the spikes is rather daunting. My only current idea involves minky dot fabric where I ignore the correct spike placement, but I’m not fond of that idea.

    • Hello! Regarding a Lapras, I think I personally would attach each spike separately by hand, since you could get the correct placement that way 🙂 For the shape of the shell, you may be able to just copy that part of the Lapras’ back and make it slightly larger so it still fits snugly.
I hope that might help point you in the right direction!

  10. Howdy! All of these designs are so cute! Though, dinosaur plushies sound amazing, so do all of the other suggestions I’ve seen in the comments so far, thank you for making all of these free too! I think one day I’m going to use a lot of these such as the hooded cowls, etc! Pusheen plushies would be really adorable, too! Same with Toontown patterns! I can imagine an adorable pattern of Doodles, Toons, or anything, really! These are really good Halloween ideas, ways to carry/store things, and much, much more! I wish you and your blog good luck! If you are unsure of what Toontown and Pusheen are, I am pretty sure they would be easy to find on Google.

  11. I love that you give out free patterns!! I am all ways on the search for free patterns and it was so hard to find good ones. And your patterns are the best!

  12. Could you add all the Friday freebies that are in the home section to this please? And also could you make a free dragon plush? Dragons are my favorite and I think a dragon blob would be fun.

  13. Hi, I’m a big fan of yours and i also really love anime so, maybe you could make some anime theme items if so Thank you!

  14. Hey, just wanted to say thank you for making these super cute plushie patterns free! I really appreciate it as a very amateur sewer aha, I’m going to try to make some of these as presents for Valentine’s Day, birthdays etc. Again, thank you so much!
