Reptile Sale! And new Lizard Plush Pattern with Free Bruni Hack! 🦎

Hello everyone!
A bearded dragon was pretty high on my pattern poll, and it seemed like a fun one to tackle next! Fellow plush pattern maker NazFX has a fantastic semi-realistic bearded dragon, so I thought it might go more silly and stylized with mine. I was really inspired by Bruni from Frozen 2 — I’ve had a few requests for him so I used his general shape to make up these other common lizard pets.
(And I made him into a free pattern hack, which you can download below!)
The templates for the main pattern include how to make a bearded dragon, leopard gecko, and crested gecko. They have long bodies with tiny arms and legs to prop them up. Their heads have a very distinctive shape with bulging eyes and a sweet smile built right into the mouth. You also have an option for a cute tongue that can lick the eye 😂 The curves from sewing the head are pretty difficult and take some careful sewing and precision. I really slowed down the instructions to cover it more thoroughly, but I thought it best to rate this one an 8/10 because of how tricky it can be ♥
As usual, the pattern comes with applique templates for the eyes and other body marking details. So you can stitch those on by hand or regular embroidery machine. But if you have an embroidery machine you can purchase the embroidery files separately. All the designs have 4×4 hoop options, so some adjustments were made to get markings like the leopard gecko to fit.
To celebrate the launch, the new pattern will be 30% off from now through the 4th of May. Also the embroidery will be 50% off. All other reptiles like dragons and snakes will be 20% off. Meanwhile the rest of my shop will be 10% off. I hope you’ll give it a look! And if you do, I hope you enjoy it!

For Bruni’s pattern hack, all you have to do is use the new applique templates below in conjunction with the Pet Lizard pattern! It includes templates for new eyes and body markings. There are also optional flames you can sew into the back of Bruni’s body. The instructions and applique templates can be downloaded below. There are also embroidery files for the new templates as well ♥ I hope you enjoy getting to try making your own cute fire spirit!

  1. I saw your new pattern on an etsy update from my favorites this morning and knew I had to have it! Another great pattern! I am making moths today 🙂 Thank you.

  2. This pattern is really cute. I made a neck merfaune and one rat for the kids of my niece and a bat and alpaca for the parents. They love them, so I have to make more for the hole family. It is not so easy for me, because I’m german and have to translate the pattern. But with the photos and the step-by-step-instructions it goes well. Thank you very much!

  3. Thank you so very much for your generosity! You’re very, very talented. I’m looking forward to seeing more amazing patterns from you in the future!

  4. I broke down and bought it 😞 but it’s so damn cute. I look forward to making a super large one for my couch 🥰🥰🥰
