New Shop Pattern! Animal Ear Witch Hat

Hello everyone!
I’ve got a new pattern that I’ve recently added to my Etsy shop 😀

I’ve been in a witchy mood ever since the Hogwarts House Plush Pattern I released back in July, so I thought for the next leg of my Halloween projects I wanted to make a witch hat!
A classic cone style hat is a really fun simple project that you can find for free many places, so of course I had to take it a step further! I designed two fun crown shapes in addition to the basic cone. And of course knowing my style I just had to put animal ears on them too ❤

The pattern includes templates to make cat, unicorn, or rabbit ears — and you can decorate them with horns, antlers, wings, and flowers too. To finish it off, you can make a cute accent band (complete with slots to hold your potion vials!) and a bow.
It has sizes for heads from 13” to 25” so it can be made for both babies and adults. The instructions also come with tips about different interfacing to use so you can make a hat that’s super crisp and sturdy or one that’s more cozy and floppy.

Though it’s completely optional, it felt too good to pass up a hat with a spooky face too. So applique templates for this creepy grinning face and an evil eye are also in there as well ❤ The embroidery is also available separately, which comes in 7 different sizes so it would suit lots of other spooky projects besides the hat!
To celebrate its launch, the pattern will be 30% off for the first weekend, and the embroidery files will be 50% off! I hope you’ll give it a look! And if you snagged a copy, I hope you enjoy it!

New Shop Pattern! Pencil Pouch Plush

Hello everyone!
I’ve got a new pattern that I’ve recently added to my Etsy shop 😀

I had gotten a few requests for a plush pencil pouch in the past, and I also wanted to try out a sort of sleeping pose style of plush. When I saw that I could do both in one pattern I ran with it!
The base plush is a tiny and cute belly-down pose with a lot of classic animals including a cat, rabbit, fox, and panda as well as a dragon and unicorn. You can give it sleepy eyes so it looks like it’s napping ❤ And the pencil pouch variation on that has an elongated body with a zipper down the back. Aside from that the two are basically the same, so they’re both included in the same pattern!
The shapes are pretty simple though the size is tiny since it all has to be pouch-sized. So the rating is 5/10 but it might feel harder if you have trouble with tiny pieces or never sewn a zipper before.

It comes with applique templates but embroidery files for all the faces are available separately ❤ There are 3 different eye styles including sleepy eyes and dragon eyes as well as tiny paws. The listing has 7 sizes of each eye and face so you can use these parts for different patterns if you want to. All the pattern parts fit 4” x 4” hoops so you can embroider this pattern no matter what you’ve got 😀

To celebrate its launch, the pattern will be at 30% off for the first weekend! And the embroidery will be 50% off! I hope you’ll give it a look! And if you snagged a copy, I hope you enjoy it!

New Shop Pattern! Fawn & Unicorn Plush

Hello everyone!
I’ve got a new pattern that I’ve recently added to my Etsy shop 😀

Last year I did a set of fox and hare plushies that were specifically designed as a chibi style animal that stands on four legs 😀 Since then I’ve been thinking it would work well for a deer too. I found they also looked especially cute for a unicorn — particularly a more delicate-looking unicorn like one from The Last Unicorn (one of my favorite old animated movies!). So I took a leap and developed the rest ❤ There are lots of horns, wings, manes, and tails to choose from so you can make a really fun and unique unicorn! But my favorite addition is the little flower garland you can make to wrap around the horns or antlers ❤
Just like the fox and hare, they’re a bit tricky to sew because of the belly gusset. But each point is numbered and labeled to help you through it precisely.

One thing that might help is the accompanying embroidery files that are available for purchase as well 😀 It has two different eyes, one for big bright open eyes and another for a closed eye with eyelashes. The listing comes with the separate eyes and faces at tons of different sizes so you can use them for this plush or a different project entirely.

To celebrate its launch, the pattern will be at 30% off up through the weekend! And the embroidery will be 50% off! I hope you’ll give it a look! And if you snagged a copy, I hope you enjoy it!

Free Pattern Friday! Hooded Cowl

Hi everybody!
With Halloween coming I couldn’t resist the urge to make something costume related, so while this isn’t a plush I hope you all might still enjoy it! It’s a cozy hooded cowl dressed up either like a dragon or a unicorn. Paired with a warm coat or a fuzzy sweater I think it would be the perfect thing to keep you cozy and cute while trick-or-treating.

It includes sizes from baby up to large adult so everyone in the family can have one! And if you’re not into the hooded cowl look, you can use the dragon or unicorn parts for a hoodie or scoodie or anything else with a hood! It’s hard not to love the look of those dragon spikes or the big blooming flowers around the unicorn horn.

The cowl on its own is pretty simple and would be great for someone new to sewing that hasn’t made a lot of clothes yet. It’s also a good way to practice sewing buttonholes. All of the dragon and unicorn details give it a little extra time and difficulty, so I rated it a 3/10.

I hope it might help some of you with your autumn sewing!

New Shop Item & Sale! Fairy Tale Collection Embroidery!

Hey everyone!
For those of you with embroidery machines, I’m slowly but surely adding more files for my paid patterns for sale 😀 For this next update I thought I should tackle my most popular patterns – the ones in my Fairy Tale Collection. That includes the Laying Dragon, Sitting Dragon, Peryton, Unicorn/Pegasus, Phoenix, and Griffin.

Just like with my other files so far, these bundles include the embroidery to use specifically with the partner pattern along with instructions. And they include standalone eye files in 7 sizes that you can use them with other projects. They’re also useful if you only have a 4” x 4” embroidery hoop and want to embroider the eyes separately. The main point is you don’t have to buy the pattern to use the embroidery and vice versa ❤

The files are bundled together at a discount just like the sewing patterns 😀 And all the files are 50% off for this weekend, so you have your pick! In addition, the partner patterns are 30% off so you can buy them together if this is your first time seeing them. I hope these new files help with your plush-making!

Shop update! More cut & sew fabrics!

Hey everybody!
For those of you into Spoonflower, I thought I might share this newest update with you! I’m going back and revisiting some of my older patterns to give them the cut & sew treatment 🙂
If you’re not familiar with Spoonflower, it’s a great service with offices in North Carolina and Berlin. They custom print on all kinds of fabric. It’s a fantastic resource for making stuffed animals too because you can print your pattern pieces right on the fabric. And it’s amazing for beginners because you don’t have to learn about how to buy supplies and fabric or how to transfer markings.

The new additions are:
More bat plush designs, which I’ve added kimono patterns to.
The cube puppy plush, which now has 4 different dog breeds like a pug & corgi.
The Unicorn Kitty pillow plush, which is shrunk down to fit ¼ yd. so it’s more classic plush sized.
The owl plush, specifically the heart faced one. These have feathers printed into the bodies which is so fun!
And I transformed my Eeveelution blob plush into classic cats like a tabby and calico.

You can buy them one fat quarter at a time, or buy a whole yard for all 4 of the colors in the collection. The instructions are just slightly different to accommodate the new fabric. You can find all of my cut & sew designs on my Spoonflower page, or a dedicated page here on my site for easier previewing 😀
I hope you guys enjoy them!
