Memorial Day Sale! Plus new Mer-animal Neck Plush Sewing Pattern

Hello everyone!
I’ve got a new plush pattern I’ve added to my shop!

Neck Merfauna Blog Title

Since my Neck Dragon Plush earlier in the year, I’ve been excited to try other variations, including unicorns, foxes, wolves, and the like. But I thought before I do that, I’d try a version that’s perfect for #MerMayvarious mer-animals! I had trouble deciding which animals, so I did a mer-pony, mer-kitty, mer-bunny, capricorn (mer-goat), and I found an otter worked really nicely too! I decided to call them the Merfauna bundle since I thought that had a nice sound to it 💖 They feature an option to split up the body at the waist for a mermaid look, or a full one-piece body for something like the otter. Meanwhile there are tons of ear, fin, and other body options to mix-and-match different animals.
Just like the Neck Dragons from before, these long, curved noodle plushies wrap around your neck as a fun and cozy neck accessory. If you add in wire to its body, it’ll make it posable so it fits even more snugly and is less likely to shift while you move around. And you can twist the tail in fun ways 🦦 The wire isn’t absolutely required for the project, since not everyone is interested in hunting down hardware. But it should help a little that it only needs armature wire, which is usually easy to find in craft stores 👌
As usual, the pattern comes with applique templates for the eyes and other details like tiger stripes (for a tiger shark!) and paw pads. But you can also purchase embroidery files separately.
To celebrate the launch, the new pattern will be 30% off from now through the 2nd of June. Meanwhile the embroidery will be 50% off. And as a Memorial day & #MerMay special, all my ocean-themed patterns will also be 20% off, and the rest of my shop will be 10% off. I hope you’ll give it a look! And if you do, I hope you enjoy it!

  1. Is there a way to do the eyes and other embroidery parts without embroidery? I don’t have a machine to do it and am unable to machine embroider.

  2. So as you mentioned above on how you were thinking about doing a animal pack you did the mer-pack first. does this mean that you will end up doing a fox, dog, cat neck plush also? sorry if it was confusing

  3. Please please plzzzz share a free pattern of a unicorn plush like this or maybe this only I will like you to make a pusheen cat plush and also I think you can easily make a miniature couch sofa plush . I love your free patterns please keep on sharing lots of free patterns of plushies bags and purses. You are too talented .

  4. Hi there. I absolutely love the Merfauna pattern ideas. Does this package come with the body pattern as well. I downloaded the free pattern with the Toothless neckdragon, but it does not have everything included😊 My 14 year old grandaughter made your free seal pattern, and it is gorgeous.

    1. Hello and thank you! I’m glad you and your daughter are enjoying the patterns!
This Merfauna pattern does come with all the pieces for the body and head 😊 The free Toothless pattern is an add-on to my Neck Dragon pattern, which is why it doesn’t come with all the pieces.
