Hello all! June is over and done with, and although it went quickly for me it’s still been fun 😀 I’ve been preparing a load of new products to reveal in the coming weeks and we’ll likely be having another giveaway! I’m nearly at 150,000 pageviews on deviantArt and I can’t wait to celebrate with some free stuff! And speaking of free stuff, I have … Continue reading New Crafting Challenge Plush Pattern for July!
Hello everyone! I hope you all are having a good year so far! I can’t believe we’re already in March 😀 I’ve been chugging along with book edits and updating my Etsy store for the past month. For March I’ll be fulfilling orders for all the new aviator hats and hoodies I’ve been selling to you wonderful folks, but hopefully in my off time I … Continue reading New Freebie Plush Pattern for March!
Hi everyone out there in internet land! It’s August already, so it’s time for a little update on how things have been ^-^ Looking back, I can’t believe so much of the year has passed already. Needless to say, I’ve been away on this semi-hiatus of sorts, only posting about once or twice a month, and that’s been due to all the books I’ve been … Continue reading New Freebie for August!
Whoa, it’s been a while since my last post! ;o; Don’t worry, everyone, I’m still alive! Just very busy! I promise to get back to posting more regularly once I get caught up – should be sometime in the next few months ^0^
It feels good to do another plush again! 😀 I liked the look of the Wampa Plush from a while back so much that I thought I would make another with a similar shape – Cthulhu seemed like a nice fit. I just love how I’ve made a big scary elder god into a pudgy little thing :B He comes complete with face tentacles and wings on the back as well.
Hi everyone! I hope you all had a fabulous Thanksgiving! 😀 The first of the month snuck up on me before I knew it, but December is here! November’s been great, considering I got to hold another giveaway, and my Etsy store got a huge update (along with lots of coupons to share) x3 It’s only too bad that I had to cut back on … Continue reading New Freebie and Updates for December!
It’s the last of the Halloween projects today :w< I saved the easiest project for last 😀 It’s a simple headpiece that looks just like exposed brains ^w^ with a carefully placed slot in back, you can loop a headband through the piece and it looks like some zombie has just taken a bite out of your head! I can see whipping out one of these headbands in less than an hour if you have to get a costume together really quick. And I had a lot of fun with all the different color variations, from bright fresh pink brains, to green infected brains, to gray decayed brains xD I hope you’ll enjoy making it as much as I did – and maybe it’ll solve a last-minute Halloween dilemma for you!
At the moment I’m preparing to attend an anime convention called Metrocon in July, for the next few weeks I’ll be working on making some products to sell there. Up until then I’ll have those new products on my Etsy store in case anyone in the net-o-sphere is interested :3 First is a teal version of my Punk Bunny Hat, which got everyone’s attention on … Continue reading Etsy Store Update!
This bag was inspired by one of my favorite characters from the Japanese company San-X. They’re much like Sanrio in that they design adorable characters and market them with plush toys, stationery, accessories, you name it. They have a pair of piggies there called Monokuro Boo, which loosely translates to “monochrome pig,” except, you know, it’s said in that cutesy Japanese style ^w^ They’re called … Continue reading Freebie Friday: The Monokuro Boo Bag
Yes, I’m bringing back more Miyazaki x3 As much as I would have liked to do another character, the colors in this print that I had so much of just couldn’t stop reminding me of a Miyazaki color scheme – very earthy yet bright but not overly saturated. This dark brown faux suede that I thought matched perfectly made me think of what soot sprites … Continue reading Freebie Friday: The Susuwatari Tote
The next knitting project I recently finished is these cushy wrist warmers. They’re the Cabled Arm Cozies from the Holiday 2008 issue of Vogue Knitting. That issue actually had one or two other really cute looks, so I’m excited to get into making other things from it.
