Hello all! Looks like Thanksgiving is over here in the states and the officially holiday shopping season has begun! I am feeling the effects already, both trying to juggle making gifts for friends and family and filling orders at my Etsy shop. If you’re also shopping around for others, you might be interested to know I have a sale going on in my shop 😀 … Continue reading Last Crafting Challenge Plush for 2015!
Hello all! I hope everyone had an amazing Halloween yesterday! I spent a lot of it sewing in front of the TV, watching silly scary movies and eating mouthfuls of York Peppermint Patties 😀 It’s so nice to move into another month and get one step closer to winter – or the closest thing we have to winter down here in Florida. I wasn’t very … Continue reading New Crafting Challenge pattern for November!
Happy February everyone! I’ve had a busy January xD I was actually working on more books! And hopefully some that you’ll get to see very soon. Luckily things have slowed down a bit and I’m able to brainstorm for more stash-busting projects – maybe even get back into making some more hats or plushies! We’ll see how things pan out this month. The notebooks are back! But this time with an interesting twist! I don’t know how many of you have ever heard of a dos-a-dos, but it’s a form of book binding from the French meaning “back to back” as you can see. It’s not a kind of book I see all that often, and I think that’s a shame because I think the effect is so cool! One book makes two because they share a back cover – you simply flip the book over and you can access the other side. With the double-sided nature of the notebook it just seemed too perfect to apply it to the Adventure Time characters and their gender-swapped counterparts 😀 In fact I’ll probably try this out on some of the other characters because they turned out so great ^-^ And they helped to use up a bunch of my paper stash too.
