Up next after Ponyta on the poll is another fire type, Cyndaquil! I’ll admit this was a Pokemon that I often overlooked, but it made designing him that much more fun because I got to get to know him! By the end of the project I couldn’t help but smile when I saw his cute face.
This version has the classic sitting pose with a wide body, accent legs, round head, narrow nose, tiny arms and legs, and of course the trademark flames on his back. The curves going around the head and nose are a little tricky, but the instructions break it down into very small manageable steps. Because of all these tricky curves, this pattern is rated 4/10 in difficulty.
As always, this pattern comes with applique templates to make the eyes and other details. These are if you are sewing the details by hand or regular sewing machine. If you have an embroidery machine, you’ll find the embroidery files available with the buttons below. I hope you all like it!
