Here are the most requested animals and characters I recieved in 2023! A big thanks to my Patreon patrons who helped me narrow down the list and added their own suggestions. They’re split into fanart and non-fanart categories this time since the fanart characters tend to become free patterns 💖
In these polls, you can choose as many options as you’d like. But if you have a different idea to suggest, feel free to leave a comment down below and I’ll put it on future lists!
I can’t always promise I’ll make the suggestions in the same order as the poll. If it’s a big project it might mean I’ll need to be strategic with my schedule. But rest assured that if it scores very high it will find a way into my plans for the year!
If you’re curious about what I’ve already made in the past, please do take a look at my detailed search filter. You may find I already have what you’re looking for!
Thank you for your suggestions!

Hello! Could you please make a Latias plushie pattern??? That would be great! Its hard to find a pattern

  2. Do you think you can make a tutorial how to hand embroider eyes for plushies? Because I want to make some but I don’t have an embroidery machine.

      1. I support this advice. There was no such thing as fusible web in my city, but I bought it during my stay in the capital. Small items on the stuffed animals are no longer a problem.

I’ve been using parchment paper and spray fabric adehsive. It works the same as fusible interfacing without the iron. And no, it doesn’t gum up my needle.

  3. Hi, I would die for a chameleon pattern 😍 with variation to make Pascal from Tangled 😁
And thanks for all your wonderfull patterns ❤️

  4. I have a granddaughter that would love a flamingo and dolphin Thank you so much for your talents and willing to share the patterns

  5. Hello! Love your work! Could you tell me if there is a way to adjust the human pattern so that they sit up flat on their bottoms? Or could that be a whole separate pattern/expansion?

    1. Hello! Thank you for the kind words! I’m glad you’re enjoying the patterns ♥
Adjusting the body for sitting is a little involved, but not impossible. You’d basically want to take that whole leg opening area and rotate it toward the center of the belly. That will cause the back area to get longer, which becomes the bottom for sitting.
I hope that might help! If you have any of my other sitting plush patterns you might be able to see the distinction ♥

  6. I love all of the patterns, they are so cute and couldn’t believe some of the best ones were even free! I had been trying to find a specific pattern and I can’t seem to find one that’s free 😅 do you happen to have like a free base for a standing anthro furry plush or something very similar?

  7. Can you please make a pattern for an astronaut, space rocket and alien.

I just found out today you have alot of free patterns here and i’m loving them all, it’s overloaded with cuteness.

I am currently in progress with the horse and dragon from the Zodiac plushes and so far the direction are easy peasy.

i have also bought the reversable dragon-egg but have not started it yet.

  8. Hello and thanks for all your wonderful patterns. I have been making the moth and butterfly patterns and they are very popular. Since the body is always the same would love variations of the wings. Thanks!

  9. Can you do a bird Pokémon pattern? I love them and I wanna make plush of them, its just there are no non crochet patterns. Something like the regional bird of each region.

  10. I would love a pattern for The Hydra (from greek mythology). My yonger brother is having a tough time picking a pattern he would want me to sew for him and I know he would enjoy a hydra plush to cuddle with.

  11. Hi ! I am waiting so much for Squirtle and make the triology starters (wib bulbasaur and salamander) of pokemon 🥰🥰🥰

    1. My daughter also requests a Squirtle to round out the Kanto starters. (I can’t find a Squirtle pattern for her anywhere—Etsy only has crochet patterns.). We love all of your Pokémon patterns!

  12. I think a simple base human plush pattern would be really helpful for people who want to make very specific characters like OCs!!

  13. I would love a Dragonite pattern nobody has one I have been able to find. I just think that they are the cutest dragon type.

Thank you very much for your amazing patterns! I am thrilled with how many Pokémon are making it into your patterns, as my kids are really into them. I have been also adapting some of your free and paid patterns to make others such as bayleef from your herbivore set or stufful from your red panda pattern (there are many others I have already done those are just a couple on my to do list). Would you please consider making a Celebi pattern it’s one of my kids top picks and I can’t see a way to adapt it. I was so excited when you did Charmander and Mew which were also at the top of their lists, my son’s favorite, Throh, I have started working on from your Yeti pattern. Anyways thanks again, I really enjoy your patterns and if you would consider making Celebi either in your shop or for free I would really appreciate it! Thanks!

  15. I would love to see an expansion for humans that is a cyclops. My favorite character in Percy Jackson is his brother Tyson and would love to make him. Thank you for all you do!

  16. It could be a great thing to have an expansion on the armor pack with more weapons, like maces or bows

  17. hi cholly! i thought it might be cool to do a kawaii themed outfit, like a set of patterns that make a cute outfit, (not for the dolls lol) i love your patterns!

  18. Thank you for all of your hard work on all of your patterns! I have bought so many from your Etsy shop!

Would love to see a complete starter pokemon set with squirtle and also a turtle!

My favourite Pokémon has always been Totodile. Would also be so so so awesome if I could make one for myself!!!

Super excited to see what your 2022 poll works out with. I voted for Lapras, Snorlax, Jack and Sally, and Tardigrade 🙂

  19. Lapras plushie is something I didn’t know I needed so much T0T
I really hope you’ll make a pattern for it,’cause I wanna sew a giant one, that would be sooo cool!
Your patterns are amazing, and I’m thinking on using them to make big plushies that would be pillow-sized,hehe
But I do however have a question: wherever I sew a ball with this kind of fabric that has short fur and is used for creating a lot of toys (yeah,I forgot how it’s called, sorry XD) it looks really weird. I use four pieces of fabrics just as most of the patterns say,but it looks so…sharpy?I mean,it kinda looks like a squishy cube with round edges that has been pressed down. It happened like three times so far and I’m really confused on what exactly I’m making wrong. I’ve seen some patterns for balls that have more pieces, kinda remind me of beach balls, but I’m making Kirby characters, that’s why they just won’t do ,that would ruin the way they look, four seams is enough already.
I hope for your help so much! Once again your patterns are very helpful and I’m more than grateful that you share them with us,I always had troubles makings heads for toys, but thanks to you now I can make my own very oshawott! ໒( ͡ᵔ ▾ ͡ᵔ )७

    1. Hello! Thank you for the kind words about my work 😊 I’m glad you’re enjoying them!
Regarding what you said about the plush sphere, you’re definitely not wrong. A sphere with 4 pieces is sadly not going to look perfectly round and will look more like a rounded square (especially from above). One solution is to find stretchier fabric, which will cause all those straighter edges to become rounder because the fabric stretches outward.
As you noticed, more seams will also help (like a beach ball), but it can ruin the look of the finished plush. So a good compromise is darts instead. If you overlap the “beach ball” pieces so they come together in the middle, you’ll have darts along the top and bottom where they are less noticeable but still create some shaping. Then there won’t be as many seams across the face where it can be distracting.
I hope that helps a little!

  20. Hello! Your patterns are amazing! I discovered your shop on Etsy years ago, and have always been in awe. I’m wondering if you have ever considered a YouTuber add-on pack for the basic doll plushie? My daughter LOVES Sssniperwolf, DanTDM, and a few others. I think she would go nuts over a Sssniperwolf doll, with her signature huge glasses, lol.

  22. Is there anyway you could make a midna from zelda? my 17 year old is obsessed with Zelda, Midna is one of her favorites, but she would love any of the other characters too. I love your patterns and am using them to make gifts for family and friends! Thank you so much!

  23. i ABSOLUTLY looooooove your patterns but i would LOVE a tadpole or Heartless from Kingdom hearts. Also i have made a Jeff the Shark from the Marvel comics using some of your patterns, id love to show you if your interested ^_^

    1. Oh wow, that sounds awesome! I’d love to see the result! Sadly this blog isn’t good for sharing photos, but an email or tagging me on social media would be good ♥

  24. Can you help make a Jirachi plush pattern please? I love your patterns and the style you create them, it would be my greatest pleasure to make my favorite pokemon in your style. Thank you so much!

  25. Scorbunny, Lucario, Snivy, Gardevoir and the eeveelutions are my favourite pokemon. I love your patterns so much, it would be amazing to be able to make them in your style.

  26. Hi choly thank you for your amazing patterns. Since there are a bunch of fantastic Pokémon patterns in your site, could you please release some Digimon patterns too.i think the other fans would love it too💖

    1. I’ve actually been looking for digimon patterns myself. There are plenty of in-training and rookie forms that aren’t too detailed; but it’s rare to find any. It’s especially difficult to find patterns that include ‘user friendly’ instructions or properly labelled pieces.

  27. UnicornsandDinosours

Hello Choly. Thank you for your wonderful patterns. My family loves everything I make them. I was wondering if you could make a Blue from Sea beast pattern for maybe a hack for you lizard pattern? Thank you.

  28. Hi Choly, as an avid fan of your patterns, can I suggest an addition to the Dinosaurs? I would love to have a Wooly Mammoth and maybe a Sabre-toothed Lion/Tiger???
A comment was made on my FB about the patterns I design and could I possibly let her have some. I had to admit they were not MY designs-, I gave her your details and website, and she messaged me back saying she’d had a look and loves your work. As we all do x

      1. Your work is worth spreading, that way others can get the same pleasure from them as we all do. And I thank you for that! 🙂

    1. Hi, Choly I love your patterns. I recently made your trex plush for my baby cousin. He loved it. I was also wondering if you could make a mimikyu plush pattern. He is my favorite pokemon.

  29. Hi there! All of your patterns are so lovely and it’s fun to try them myself. The plushies I can make with them are wonderful gifts for my friends!
I’d love to request a possible future pattern: A Spheal from Pokemon. I simply adore those cute round seals!

    1. Hello. I have been loving your patterns. I have been looking for a Winterhorn Heartless plush or pattern.

It would be amazing if you could make a Winterhorn Heartless even if it takes a while.

Thank you for all the pattern so far. I shall continue watching you. Thank you again for all the work you have put into these.

      1. Thank you so much for the suggestion! I haven’t had any other requests for that creature, but I’ll definitely make a note of it 😊 Thank you for your support and kind words, and I hope you enjoy the projects to come in the future!

Would you consider making a ponyo plush? My little brother is in love with the movie and I can’t find a quality plush for him. Thank you!
