Free Pattern Friday! Polar Bear Plush

Hi everyone!

For those that celebrate Christmas, I couldn’t resist the urge to make something with a Santa hat for December, so I came up with this little polar bear! It has a similar body to the Pikachu & Vulpix from a while back, but it has big bear paws, tiny ears, and a cute chubby muzzle. Meanwhile the fun Santa hat has tiny ear slots and a pom pom on the end.

So if you’ve made my Pikachu or Vulpix pattern you’ll find the instructions very familiar. But if not you should know the leg area requires lining up points pretty carefully. And also the arms and feet are attached by hand so you’ll want to give yourself extra time for that. All in all I rated it a 4/10 in difficulty.

As always, the pattern comes with applique templates to make the face if you’re using a regular sewing machine or working by hand. But there are also embroidery files available if you have an embroidery machine. All the files are 4″ x 4″ friendly, and they cover the paws, muzzle, and your option of a face with snowflake eye shines or regular eye shines.

I hope you all like it!
