Here are the most requested animals and characters I recieved in 2023! A big thanks to my Patreon patrons who helped me narrow down the list and added their own suggestions. They’re split into fanart and non-fanart categories this time since the fanart characters tend to become free patterns 💖
In these polls, you can choose as many options as you’d like. But if you have a different idea to suggest, feel free to leave a comment down below and I’ll put it on future lists!
I can’t always promise I’ll make the suggestions in the same order as the poll. If it’s a big project it might mean I’ll need to be strategic with my schedule. But rest assured that if it scores very high it will find a way into my plans for the year!

      I think you can make that if you mix patterns! The fawn and unicorn and hoofed anthro animal Etsy patterns both have wings, and the puppy pattern is on Etsy too!

    Hello! I did the Totoro plush recently and your instructions are very clear thank you! I was wondering maybe you could do a wolf or fox hat (with ears), I can’t find one on the internet and it would be amazing!

        I love all your patterns, they are so adorable! I’m totally addicted to turtles, so if you could make a turtle that would be awesome!! I also love all the Australian animals and it’s hard to find anything except koalas, so a big vote for some more of the Aussie animals too!

      I second this request! I have been scouring the internet for a hat pattern that has 3D ears (similar to the ears on the fox chibi plush pattern or similar to any of the defunct Kay Pike fashion hats patterns with 3D ears). Would love an ear flap hat pattern that has multiple 3D animal ear options!!!

    I love the wolf hat pattern idea! I have used the fish hat soooo many times!! I have yet to find a decent beaver pattern(I’ve been looking for many, many years) – have you ever thought about making one? Somewhere I saw a pangolin suggested – I second that one!
    I truly appreciate your generosity, Choly – I have tried to design my own, but I just don’t have the talent, and clearly you do! Thanks for sharing with us.

    I just finished the Appa plush. What a challange with long fluffy fabric, but it was worth it!

    I would love to see a possible pattern for wheelchair/walker bags in any sort of cute/fun theme like pokemon or unicorns or dragons! I love your reversible backpack and bag options, they’re so well made and easy to follow!! I think something cute and handicap friendly would be amazing <3

Whilst not exactly a pattern recommendation, I’d LOVE an article on how to convert plushie patterns to hand puppets if you have any interest / ideas. There are a few of your patterns I’m thinking of trying to adapt, but don’t have much experience with toy sewing (yet!).

    omg i super want a sand seal pattern, and basically any plush from video games or shows like encanto or substitute doll from pokemon, or the doggies from animal crossing that mom sends you. yeah basically im just dying to have every plush that doesnt exist in real life. also i feel like there are no cutesy kawaii guinea pig pattern out there period!

    I don’t understand why platypus made this poll, when you already have a platypus pattern. I just know that normally if people ask for patterns that you have already done you usually redirect them to where they can be found. Even if they don’t want to buy the book it might be possible to get it from the library, I was able to.

    Stitch would be great, because the pattern could also be used to make Leroy with a few adjustments. If you do make Stitch, are you going to make one of his alien form too? There are already so many dog forms.
