Here are the most requested ideas I received in 2025! A big thanks to my Patreon patrons who helped me narrow down the list and added their own suggestions. They’re split into fanart and non-fanart categories since the fanart characters tend to become free patterns 💖

In these polls, you can choose as many options as you’d like. But if you have a different idea to suggest, feel free to leave a comment down below and I’ll put it on future lists! If you’re curious about what I’ve already made in the past, please do take a look at my detailed search filter. You may find I already have what you’re looking for! I can’t always promise I’ll make the suggestions in the same order as the poll. If it’s a big project it might mean I’ll need to be strategic with my schedule and rearrange how things go.

In the end though, please do remember that the goal of this blog is to celebrate the fun of making things! 🧵 So if your favorite character or franchise might not become a pattern, please know that it doesn’t reflect on whether it’s more or less worthy. Hopefully my huge backlog of previous patterns might help you make it to your goal! Thank you for your suggestions!

  1. I would love a penguin that is sitting up (Instead of lying down that it you have already made). I love all your patterns and that would be amazing. Thanks.

  2. I would love to see Jack and Sally from nightmare before Christmas I’m really into that right now. i would also love to see a sheep or a giraffe. also more characters from Harry Potter.

I also love your patterns. They’re super cute and easy. I love making stuffed animals for my friends so I always go to your website.

  3. I would like some pattern or idea about how to make “people”. Like a knight, princess, a family member, a with a job like one like teacher or painter, or even try to make your own figure of a game like WoW or LoL wich seems super complicate

    1. To make people, I have a series of doll patterns for various kinds of humans ☺ https://www.etsy.com/shop/CholyKnight?ref=seller-platform-mcnav&search_query=doll
They come with clothes and you can buy extra clothes separately for things like a knight: https://www.etsy.com/listing/990881886/armor-expansion-pack-for-doll-plush
But to start, I have a free doll pattern that’s much simpler but can still wear most of the clothes: https://cholyknight.com/2019/10/04/bat-cat-girl-doll-plush/
      I hope that might help!

  4. I really love your patterns!! They’re super cute! I do have a suggestion though. Can you do Stitch? Thanks

  5. i would love for you to make a pack for the dolls where it has a raincoat and some big coats. i wanted to make a mono and six plush from little nightmares! hope you can do it. thanks!

      1. It would be fun to have a silly abs and pecs embroidery pattern for the dolls. (My Barbarian players in my D&D campaigns would very much enjoy it. 😁

On a separate note, the Chao from Sonic Battle Adventure 2 would be super adorable. I’m likely going to try meshing a few of your existing patterns together too try and make one. However, in a novice at best when it comes to creating/adjusting patterns. 😅

  6. hello 👋 I love your work I am from Peru 😍 I made the lead bat pattern and I loved it 😍 could you make a pig pattern🐷🐮 similar to stacking plush lion, tiger but free please 🙏🙏 I would appreciate it very much 🤗 for now I have no chance to buy your patterns that are so beautiful

  7. I would love to see children’s sized cosplay hoodies, Kigurumi patterns in plus size adults, and more little hats to fit the snake plush, because hats and sneaky snakes are a must.

  8. I know that a pig is already in the poll, but I was wondering if you could make one similar to the pig at the end of the Addict (Hazbin Hotel) video on YouTube. It makes a brief appearance at the five minute mark; and it is one of the most adorable designs that I have ever seen. I don’t expect the more ‘evil’ elements like the small spikes or arrow tipped tail; but the overall shape makes it so cute.

  9. Hi. So in love with your wearable dragon scarves and plushy, I want to try making Toothless as a scarf for my daughter, which will be so easy with your patterns!
Now, my son is fabulously in love with Sisu from Raya and theast Dragon, so I was wondering of you’d consider drafting the pattern for Sisu. It’s a bit complicated with all the fur around the head and torso but I daresay a nice challenge for you 😉
    Love
    Cam

  10. Any chance you have any tips for storing fleece? I have built a sizable collection making your characters, and am struggling to store it neatly. I’m thinking you have a huge fleece collection and might have some tips.
    Thanks! Love your patterns 🙂

  11. Hi Choly.
Bought the e version of handbags and totes book. It says see the pattern pack but I don’t see a pattern pack. Some illustrations are void of some patterns and thankfully some are not. Just curious, where is the pattern pack with an e book? Thank you for your time.

    1. Hello! Sadly I’m not sure how the publisher is handling the eBook. There should be a digital pattern pack included with the book or a link to where you can download it. You may want to contact the retailer that sold you the digital copy. However if that doesn’t work out, please do let me know and I can privately try and get you a copy of the templates 💖 So sorry it’s giving you trouble! 😥

  12. I love all your patterns, I’ve downloaded many of the free ones as well as purchased so many of your patterns on Etsy. However, I have one quick question, I don’t want this to come across as rude. But when do you think you’ll update the poll? I can see you’ve completed a lot of the requests.

  13. Hello, I love your patterns and have spent this past year teaching myself to sew using them. They’re insanely helpful and I can’t wait to see what you’ll do next. I did want to pop in with a suggestion, I don’t know if other people have made it but a sort of superhero expansion pack would be cool. It seems like you try to stay away from copyrighted stuff on your etsy store where the expansion packs end up but there are some basics which you could do. Stuff like capes, one piece suits (either cat suits or, like, she-hulk one pieces), goggles, masks (I saw someone else mention little cartoon abs which is a funny idea), I think that would be really cute. I know you’ve done some variations on some before, like goggles for the anthro-dragons or capes for the plague doctors but I think there could be enough difference in the style and look to make it not redundant.

Anyways, thank you for all the effort you put into these, from both me and my family, who have spent the last year randomly receiving plushies. You’re doing a great job and I’m excited to see whatever it is that you choose to put out next!

    1. Wow, thank you for being such a long time fan! I’m really glad you’ve been enjoying the patterns ♥
And thank you so much for the detailed suggestion, I’ll definitely keep in mind for the future 😊 I hope you enjoy what’s to come next!

  14. Could you do Swadloon from Pokemon Black and White? I’ve been looking everywhere for a pattern, and cannot find ONE!! It’s my favorite grumpy boi, and I’d really appreciate it.

  15. Hi do you have any tips for beginning to sew clothes? Like fabrics to use? Or easy clothes projects to start with? I also have your sew kawaii
Book so please let me now if any of your clothes in there are good to start with. Thank you!

    1. I love the Final Fantasy themed sewing patterns you have made. They are great.
I would be super happy if you’d make a Moomba (ff8) one in the future.

  16. i would really love a bunny plush a little like the bean kitty but maybe like a grumpy bunny that would be SOOO cute thaks!

  17. Just want to say that I love your patterns! Currently working on a cosplay hoodie from one of yours.

I’d absolutely love to see lucario! Or maybe cinderace.

  18. Really love your patterns. I Had a few from others online, but yours are defenitly the best! I have a few suggestions:
Twig from netflixes awesome series Hilda
    Chibi Eeveelution plushs
Figures from the Hollow Knight games

  19. Your patterns are the best, well explained, easy to follow and have the cutest results! My kids love when I make them stuffies from them. They have asked if it’s possible to make an among us stuffie or a minecraft stuffie. So I thought I’d add to your list of requests!
    Thanks for the great patterns!

  20. I’d love to see a plush pattern of an alligator/ crocodile sitting up as I think it would be cute.

A triceratops would be nice if probably too complicated for me.

Thanks for sharing your lovely patterns with us all:D

  21. Thank you so much for all of your cute patterns! If you were taking suggestions, I vote for a SKUNK! I just know you would make the cutest little stinker!! 😍😍

  23. Would definitely love to see a badger. Haven’t been able to come across any patterns of badgers and trying to mix and match patterns to get one also hasn’t gone my way.

  24. I’m not sure how hard this would be, and I know it’s a character owned by someone else, but I have been searching the web for a Trico plushie from The Last Guardian and I haven’t had any luck. If you could make one, or if you know of one of your existing patterns that’s similar, I’d love to try it!
My first attempt at sewing a plush was your dragon backpack and you make such good patterns that I got totally hooked. Since then I’ve made a few dragon backpacks for friends and family as gifts and lots of the smaller plushies, some of the HP mascot animals. I often print the free patterns out in A5 format and make them half the size; it makes the stitching harder, but they’re even cuter! My current project is actually your squid pencil case, but I figured out how to make Adobe print the pattern over more pages so it’s 6x bigger and I’m altering it to make it a backpack (my sister has a squid hat, so I thought it would be funny). I just want to say thank you for your wonderful work, you’re bringing joy into so many lives 😊

    1. Thank you so much for the kind words! I’m really glad you’re enjoying the patterns and making so many cool projects from them! I’ll certainly keep your suggestion in mind for the future 😊

  25. Hello! Thank you for all the wonderful patterns, both free and paid!
When will the Grim Reaper plush be coming out? And I would love to see a weighted Tuk-Tuk plushie from Raya and the Last Dragon.
    Thanks again! ❤️

  26. My little one would go crazy for a Moose plushie.
Thanks for the poll! It’s so nice to see your plushies.
    Love. Tina

  27. Hey choly,
I was wondering if you would make a free humpback whale pattern if not already made, please. I make plushies to give to people and i wish to tackle one of my people’s interests. I say free because i don’t have a lot of money, mainly i use it to buy materials so i can continue my free service. But if i do make plushies, i give credit where its due, its the least i can do.thank you for your work, really appreciate you making free quality patterns. Thank you for your time, bye. Please and thank you

  28. Hello. My children have requested a pattern for a Darkrai Pokemon character, please. I can see that you have a huge list of things already but just thought I’d pop it on here in case it made it onto next year’s list. Thank you so much for all the wonderful patterns that you already have available!

  29. I know this seems really random but I would love a Harpy Eagle pattern. My 6 year old loves them (even dressing up as one for Halloween)! For the past 4+ Christmases each of my 6 kids have gotten a plush I’ve made from your patterns. <3

  30. More dinosaurs in the future please, I love them! And maybe a salamander or crocodile, I’m a lover of your reptile plushies x3

      1. Oh, and I just thought of an octopus, it would be a cute companion for the eight legged spider 🙂 (Sorry for all the separate comments, I can’t edit the previous one)

  31. Your school expansion pack is really nice, I love Sailor Moon!
I would absolutely buy an expansion pack to be able to make Kingdom Hearts plush dolls!
The game is celebrating 20 years next year and Sora (Main character!) is finally in my kids favorite video game, Super Smash Ultimate DLC pack!
I love your patterns and easy to follow instructions!
    Thank you!
