End of Year Sale! And Mimic Plush & Pouch pattern!

Hi everyone! And Happy Holidays!
I’m running an End of Year sale to finish out 2024! So for anyone that prefers to do their shopping after Christmas, everything is at least 25% off from now through January 1st! Plush everything I produced in 2024 will be 35% off!
But for those that already have everything, I also have a new pattern for sale!

A mimic was near the top of the poll as I got to work brainstorming, so hopefully fans of Dungeons and Dragons (or just RPGs in general) might recognize this creature! For those uninitiated, mimics are shapeshifting monsters that usually take the form of a treasure chest to bait unsuspecting adventurers! That meant while I designed a fun and scary chest-shaped plush I just had to do a pouch version, right?
So this pattern takes you through making a chest-shaped plush with added creepy tongue and teeth. Or you can construct a zipper pouch that have the teeth and tongue inside and make for an impressive reveal when you unzip it! You have your option of a silly face with rounded teeth and tongue, or a scary face with sharp teeth and tongue. The pouch tongues are super long, so I added the optional challenge of a tongue pocket! It would be great as a dice jail or for holding a hidden message!
If you sew by hand or regular sewing machine, you can create the all the chest details and facial features with fusible web applique. The instructions include everything you need for that. Or if you have an embroidery machine, you’ll find there are embroidery files included as well. Some adjustments had to be made to make the files 4×4 friendly, but you can still make a cute mimic with them.
Thank you everyone for an amazing 2024 and for all your support and love! I couldn’t be making all these fun designs without your input and encouragement! I’m really looking forward to trying all kinds of new designs in the coming year 🥰
