Free Pattern Friday! Oogie Boogie Plush

Hey everyone!
Of course for October I had to do Oogie Boogie! He’ll be a perfect companion to Jack & Sally if you’re a fan of The Nightmare Before Christmas. This version is sort of a beanie style. He’s got a lower half filled with poly pellets for a slouchy look. Meanwhile the arms and legs are extensions of the body so they make that rumpled burlap effect.
With just 4 pieces it comes together really quickly, though the details for the face, stitches, and little bugs coming out of his suit might take a while. Altogether I rated it a 3/10 in difficulty.
As always, the pattern comes with applique templates to make the face and other details. These will work if you’re sewing the details by regular machine or by hand. If you have an embroidery machine, you’ll find the embroidery files available for download here or with the buttons below. Every file has a 4×4 friendly option, though they might have some parts omitted so there’s room for them to fit in the hoop. I hope you all like it!
