Hi everyone!
Those who saw Gengar on my pattern poll must have known I was going to break out this bad boy for October! It’s the perfect time to sew up this awesome ghost Pokemon! It’s got a super round chubby body, tiny arms and legs, rows of scary spikes, and a big creepy smile.
It has some challenges with lining up the legs and ears. And the arms and feet are attached by hand. But compared to previous Pokemon I’ve done it comes together a little faster since it doesn’t have quite as many hand-sewn parts and it’s basically one big head! With all that in mind, I rated it a 4/10 in difficulty.
As always, the pattern comes with applique templates to make the face details. These will work if you’re sewing the details by regular machine or by hand. If you have an embroidery machine, you’ll find the embroidery files available for download here or with the buttons below. It includes the face as well as in-the-hoop sewing for the arms and feet.
