Hi everyone!
I’ve got the last project for the Halloween season! And because of that, it’s super simple and would make a great last-minute costume <3
It’s this cute kitty pumpkin hat! At first I had designed just a plain pumpkin hat, but you know me, I’ve got to add kitty ears onto everything ^_^
Included are sizes from babies up to large adults – 13”-25” heads. It works best with fleece or another fluffy stretchy fabric so it stretches around your head and keeps you warm for the upcoming chill!
It comes together really quickly and doesn’t have a lot of complicated parts, so I rated it a 2/10 in difficulty.
And that does it for the Halloween season! I hope you all enjoyed the projects I had to share <3 It’s hard to believe that the end of the year is just around the corner.
Happy Halloween everyone!

That is fantastic! ♥ I’m so glad the pattern worked out well for you 😀 Thank you for sharing the photo!
I always love seeing your patterns! I always look forward to the Free Pattern Fridays!
This is so cool. I love all your patterns! I was also wondering if you had any animal or character ideas that I could use to practice making a pattern for. Thanks!
Thank you for the kind words! I’m glad you like it!
As far as practicing pattern making, I started out just practicing with basic geometric shapes 🙂 So I found food was good for that since you can do just a cone, or a cylinder, or sphere:

I hope that might help steer you in fun direction!
Thank you! Those are so cute. I will definitely be sure to start with those.
You could make a “hack” for this by combining the patterns of the eevee evolution ears/fins/head appliqués Andy the hat part of this to make a beanie. 😄😄😄
Soo adorable😇
Please make a pushers plush
And a unicorn pencil pouch or wallet or purse …..
I’m sorry there i wrote ” pushers ” plush 😂
It’s actually a PUSHEEN PLUSH.!
Thank you for the suggestion! I have a unicorn pencil pouch pattern here if that helps 🙂

I made one of these to try and get me used to a sewing machine again after so many years 😀 felt like I’d accomplished something when I finished it so thanks so much for that! 😁 I happened to have some bright orange fleece with dragons printed on it which worked nicely! 😁❤️
Do you think I could make this for a doll? What would I have to do?
You definitely could! You would just want to measure around the head of your doll, then pick the hat size that has the same measurement 😊
For some reason when I try to click on the pattern its zoomed in, no matter home much I zoom out the edges are still cut off pretty far.. not sure how to fix it
Oh wow, I’m sorry it’s doing that to you! The pattern does overlap on some pages because the templates are too big for one page. So that could be what you’re seeing. But if you could email me a screen capture I can try to help more ♥ (cholyknight(at)gmail.com)
I’m going to do one for my cat, any recommendations?
-thank you! Kitty
You’ll likely want to use the smallest size for a cat 😊
