When I saw Cubone climbing to the top of my pattern poll I just knew it had to be the Halloween pattern. His skull helmet is perfect for some ghostly vibes. This version has a chubby body with a cute sitting pose. Meanwhile his removable skull helmet is made from double-layered felt for a nice structured fit. Also this way the edges can be left unfinished without a lot of concern. The bone accessory is held in place with a little bit of narrow elastic.
This little one doesn’t have quite as many details as say the previous Pokemon pattern, Zorua, but there are some tricky curves to sew in the forehead. So with that in mind it’s rated a 4/10 in difficulty.
As always, this pattern comes with applique templates to make the eyes and nostrils. These are if you are sewing the details by hand or regular sewing machine. If you have an embroidery machine, you’ll find the embroidery files available with the buttons below. I hope you all like it!

Ahhh! Cubone! Thank you so much! I’ve been looking for a free Cubone pattern everywhere and the only ones I could find were ugly. This will be perfect!
Love it! The next pokemon pattern should be a hack of the fawn and unicorn plush, I need an excuse to buy that pattern, lol!
