Hello everyone! I’ve got a new pattern I’ve recently added to my shop!
With spring upon us in the northern hemisphere it seemed like a perfect time to try out the rabbit pattern requested on my poll. I realize I’ve done many rabbits in the past, but looking back I realize I was doing a lot of simplified versions. I think I was missing a sort of classic version, which I think is why I still got requests. The version I had in mind was the kind sitting up on its hind legs with tucked in arms and that curious expression. I hope that it’s a version you all will like too!
This bunny has a tall body with stumpy arms and legs. It sits up on its hind legs and has a sloping head that ends in a cute bunny nose. As always, you have lots of options to choose from to customize your rabbit. First of which is long floppy ears versus short standing ears, a classic round tail or more realistic tufted tail, you can also add a fluffy neck ruff, and antlers to make it a jackalope! As as a bit of extra fun, you can add wings for a wolpertinger or simply a fairy-inspired rabbit. This works perfectly with the bumblebunny I made that would be perfect for spring. The templates come with an option for a striped body so you can also make this adorable honey bun!
As usual, the pattern comes with applique templates for the different eye and wing designs. You can stitch those on by hand or regular sewing machine. But if you have an embroidery machine, you can buy the embroidery files separately. All the designs have 4×4 hoop options, they just might have some changes to make them fit.
To celebrate the launch, the new pattern will be 30% off from now through the 29th of March. Also the embroidery will be 50% off. And to celebrate the new season, all spring related patterns will also be 30% off — including rabbits, birds, lambs, and fairies. Meanwhile the rest of my shop will be 20% off. I hope you’ll give it a look! And if you do, I hope you enjoy it!

Whaaah I love them! Cant wait to make one.
What fabric did you use for the grey and brown buns? It looks so soft
I used a brand called Shannon Luxe Cuddle ๐ There isn’t a super reliable source for it since Fabric.com shut down, but various shops on Etsy have some of the options:
