New Shop Pattern! Forest Anthro Animal Doll Plush

Hi everyone!
I’ve got a new plush pattern I’ve added to my shop!
I haven’t created an anthro animal again in quite some time, especially because I’ve touched on most of the major ones. However I’ve been getting requests for a few less common animals as of late. Namely some more woodland animals that would have fit in quite nicely with one of my first doll patterns for the Woodland Anthro Dolls. So I decided to do a bit of a spiritual sequel — this time called the forest anthro animals!
They’re a bit of a step up from the woodland animals in that they have intricate angled legs with proper heels and ankles (the digitigrade style, if my terminology is correct 😅). They don’t have simple straight legs like the previous pack. Included is a rabbit, otter, mouse, and raccoon, but their head shapes lend to lots of other animals as well. These are still part of my doll series though, so they can wear many of the same clothes as my other dolls and their expansions. The have the same torso proportions so shirts and dresses fit quite nicely. Because of their unique leg shape, pants can be a little tricky, so a bespoke pants pattern is included.
The rest of the clothing you’ll find is also forest themed, with a bit of a storybook flair. There’s a classic button down shirt with wide vintage cuffs, a peasant blouse with flared sleeves, a gathered skirt, an underbust vest, a ruffled apron, and a set of berets dressed up like mushrooms and a strawberry!
As always, the sewing pattern contains applique templates to make the faces by hand or regular sewing machine. If you do have an embroidery machine, you’ll find those files sold separately.
To celebrate the launch, the new pattern will be 30% off from now through Wednesday, August 31st. Meanwhile the embroidery will be 50% off. All other woodland animal patterns (like foxes, bears, and wolves) will be 20% off, the rest of the shop will be 10% off. I hope you’ll give them a look! And if you snagged a copy of the new pattern, I hope you enjoy it!

  1. Hi Choly,

These are adorable!! I love that you made them to fit with some of your other patterns. Clever. I was wondering, do you had a pigeon on your list of requested patterns? If not, will you please add pigeons to your list? I’m so excited to see what you will come up with for that. Your designs are always cute and lovable. Thanks so much. Stay safe & healthy!

    1. Hello! I’ve had a lot of birds on my list, so it’s hard to narrow them down 😅 I’m hoping I can do a pack to cover several species of a similar shape — so I’ll certainly see if I can include a pigeon! Thank you for the suggestion!

  2. Choly, I love your designs! You are so talented. Love the green sweatshirt you wear in one of your photos. How about sharing the pattern. PLEASE! Thank you for all your generosity!

  3. Hi! Thank you so much for all you contribute to the sewing and plush community! As someone who’s new, I really appreciate your generosity and how willing you are to help others succeed as they try to learn! I’ve already made a couple of your patterns (and have a long list of others I want to make…), and I love them! Thank you! I was wondering, would you ever consider offering the clothing that you’ve designed for many of your anthro plush as separate purchases? I would love to buy the patterns for just the clothing as I know my girls would love to have more clothing options for their individualized dolls. I know you’ve done just clothing packs, but some of the outfits you include with the anthro dolls have such cute options! Again, thank you for all you do to share your amazing talent with us! I really appreciate it!

    1. Hello! Thank you so much for the kind words and support! I’m really glad you’re enjoying the patterns ♥ I’ll certainly see what I can do about the other clothing packs — especially to make sure they’re compatible for every kind of doll 😅 Thanks so much for the suggestion!

  4. I love the clothes of these patterns so much! Do you know if they would fit Disney Nuimos? I would love to make of your patterns for my Nuimos. Miss Piggy needs a mushroom hat.

      1. Oh wow. Yes, that is a much bigger difference than I expected. I appreciate your insight though! Thank you for the response.
