New Shop Pattern! Doll Kigurumi Expansion Pack

Hi everyone!
I’ve got a new doll clothing pattern I’ve added to my shop!

This one has been requested by fans for some time, a kigurumi! That is the Japanese word for a onesie costume made to look like an animal <3 With it, you can take any of my human doll plush patterns to dress it up like 8 different animals! Including a cat, rabbit/jackalope, fox, bat, unicorn, dragon, shark, and bird. There are tons of ear, tail, wing, and sleeve options so you can mix and match to make different animals too (I bet a T-rex would be super cute!).

If you already have my Chibi Human Doll or Merpeople pattern, then you’re all set to get dressed up! But if not, this costume also works on my free Bat & Cat Girl Doll.
As always, the sewing pattern contains applique templates to make the hood faces by hand or regular sewing machine. But if you want to do embroidery, those files are sold separately. You’ll find there are sweet animal faces for the costume hoods, but also silly anime faces for the humans wearing them! I’ve been wanting to do a pack of anime faces for the longest time, and I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to unleash them <3 They're a separate embroidery pack since they're completely optional and not needed to make the costumes.

To celebrate the launch, the new pattern will be 30% off from now through next Wednesday, the 1st. The compatible base patterns will also be 30% off. Meanwhile the embroidery packs will be 50% off, all other dolls and expansion packs will be 20% off, the rest of the shop will be 10% off. I hope you'll give them a look! And if you snagged a copy of the new pattern, I hope you enjoy it!

  1. This looks really interesting I will probably try this out and I was wondering if you could make a pattern for a plush that’s floppy

    1. Thank you! It doesn’t fit the Standing Animal exactly, sadly 🙁 The tail on the animal tends to get in the way, and the legs are a little wider. But those are pretty much the only 2 factors that are an issue.

      1. Thank you! I might have to get creative and try it out sometime with some adjustments. 😀

  2. Hi! Love your creations – they’re so cute!! I just bought the Kigurumi expansion pack, but was wondering if you could share where you get your plush material from?!? (if you have any leads on shops in Canada that sell it, that would be an added bonus 😀 ) Thanks!

    1. For the Anthro Dragons, the leg openings and sleeves would need to be a bit wider to fit the larger arms and legs 🙂 The wings and tail in the back are also a big obstacle. When I tested it myself, I had to leave pretty much the whole back of the Kigurumi open to make room for the wings and tail.
The Anthro Woodland Animals would also need larger sleeves and a tail opening, but at least not one as large 🙂

  3. Hi, Choly Night I love all your work, and is the only website I follow. I tried to make a pattern of these but did not turn out well, plus I do not have the right felt for them plus I love the different facial expressions because that is what I am really into with my drawings, But what I am really into are horses ps, I love animals! By hope to chat with you next time!

  4. Hi there, I’ve made many of your patterns and just LOVE them. Thank you! I bought the Doll Kigurumi Expansion pack and was wondering if of would fit on the bodies of the Woodland Witches. Other than an adaption to their ears.

    1. Hello! The kigurumi should fit the Anthro Animals, though the sleeves might be a little tight. You would also need to make an adaptation for the tail in addition to the ears 😊
