Hi everyone!
I’ve got a free pattern that was requested a lot over the past few years and ranked super high in polls I put out – a fennec fox! I did a fox plush previously, so I thought this would be a good opportunity to switch up the base pattern and make this cute variation!
This version has the classic huge ears, but it also has a smaller body than the original plush to mimic the real life animal. There are also different eyes and little arms and legs too ❤
Because the body is so tiny, it’s a little tricky to fit all the pieces. I rated it a 3/10, but it might be closer to a 4 depending on how comfortable you are in sewing crowded areas.
There are applique templates to make the face as well as embroidery files too ❤ You’ll just need to rotate your fabric to fit diagonally within a 4” x 4” hoop.
I hope they’ll make a cute partner to your fox plush from last year!

I’ll definitely be making these! They are very cute! Also, can I suggest making an Appa from Avatar plush pattern? I can’t find any on the internet…

I have a (not-too-small) collection of both free and paid patterns piling up to sew, and I was about to start making a list of fabrics for the next time I go to the store, looking at the patterns when this pattern caught my eye. “What big ears you have…..” baby Yoda??? and now the singular thing I can think of is modifying this to be baby Yoda!

That’s a really good idea! There’s also someone who made a free baby Yoda sewing pattern. Her user name is TeacupLion. You can find the pattern here.
