Hi everyone!
So it’s September and that means I’m kicking off my Halloween projects! I’ve got 2 months of lots of creepy patterns and costumes to look forward to, as well as a giveaway in October! I hope you’ll stay tuned for all I have planned <3
The first project on my list is a new hoodie hack! I figure releasing it now will give time for everyone to sew it in time for Halloween if they like it. With the new Pokemon game coming out later this year, I thought it might be fun to do costumes for the new starters – Scorbunny, Grookey, and Sobble!
This pattern has the templates for making the ears, tails, and other features to dress up a hooded garment like these three Pokemon. You could use it with my free Scoodie pattern, my free Hooded Shrug pattern, the free Hooded Cowl Pattern from last year, or my paid pattern for a Cosplay Hoodie. You could also try it on a pre-purchased hoodie if you’re willing to do some hand-sewing 😀
The pieces can be added to either child or adult garments, though you might want to decrease the size about 25%-40% for a baby size. I hope you all like it and it might make some of your Halloween planning a little easier!
I fell in love with Sobble at first sight during the announcement, but I must admit wearing the Grookey hoodie was really cute and fun! I know Scorbunny was a runaway hit – who’s your favorite starter?
