A bit of a simpler pattern today, which should be nice for beginners! It’s a highly-requested partner to the dolphin and narwhal plush I made previously 😀 A cute baby shark!
It has just a few pattern pieces like the ones before it and comes together quickly. I rated it a 2/10 — the most difficult part is probably the belly, since it comes to a point in the back of the tail like a gusset. But it’s not terribly hard to do. So if you’re a beginner this would be a good way to get acquainted with gussets. If you’ve never sewn anything curved before this might feel more like a 3/10.
The applique templates include a classic round eye, a big toothy grin, and silly anime-style eyes so you can make a tsundere shark just like the internet meme :3 Each version has embroidery files included as well – with the teeth done in applique. All fit on 4” x 4” hoops so no one is left out!
