Hi everybody!
As some long-time fans may know, I have made some Cardcaptor Sakura patterns in the past 😀 And since the new series has been out I’ve gotten a lot of requests to make these little guys <3 So I finally gave it a go! With this one pattern you can make either Kero-chan or Suppi! Ready to go on card capturing adventures.
They both have huge ears and cute little faces as well as puffy wings and floppy bodies that can sit up if you put beans in their bottom. Sewing the arms, wings, and tail gets a little crowded when doing the body, so I rated this one a 4/10 in difficulty. But there’s a tip in the instructions to help you through it ♥ The ears sewn partially into the head darts accounts for the rating too, but you could also just fold the ears instead.
You can sew all the features with fusible web applique or using the embroidery files I’ve included below. Both faces are small enough to sew entirely in a 4" x 4" hoop so no one is left out!

AWWWWW!!! I’m freaking out!! I’ve made my own version of Kero a year ago and I loooove this show and your version is soooo awesome and I seriously neeeed to make them both!!! Thank you soooo much 😍 I like to stuff my plushies with rice to make them microwave-warmies ^^
(if anyone’s interested, mine can be found on my Deviant Art at deviantart.com/cookikeks )
Thank you so much! Your version is so cute too ♥ I love the laying down pose ^_^
Thank you 😍
I saw your Instagram post about the new variation of plush backpacks. Would you be able to just make a plush out of that, without it being a backpack? Thank you!
Oh definitely! If you skip the steps that mention a zipper or the straps, it will come together just like a regular stuffed animal 🙂
un grand merci à toi pour le partage de cette nouvelle peluche
nul doute ça va faire des heureux
bravo et merci
these are so cute!
i’m guessing the pellets help, but just to be sure – how well do these balance/sit up without the tails? would i need to adjust anything in the design (like putting pellets in the legs) to adapt it?
For this one the tails aren’t as crucial for balance, since they’re so narrow. What’s more important is how much the legs are bent so it can lean forward. So putting pellets in the feet might help, but just don’t get any in the top of the legs to keep it from bending 🙂 I hope that helps!
since I’m out of school and had time I made one of these and its really easy because of your clear instructions and cute but I didn’t use the pellets cause I didn’t have any but the plush was still cute. I’m probably going to be making a lot of your plushies over the summer.
I’m glad you found it easy to follow! ♥ I hope you get to make a lot over the summer months 🙂
The instructions were very clear and easy to follow mine ended up turning out great and since I’m out of school I plan on making more plushies over the summer with your patterns. (╹◡╹)♡
I did not mean to post this on here this was meant for a different pattern that i did٩( ᐛ )و
I love it! My question is, if I were to not sew the wings, tail, or ears, do i have to change the pattern, or will it stay and work?
It will still work! 🙂
I have made both Kero and Suppi and they were super fun to do and easy to follow. I hope you do a pattern for the Pipe Fox from xXxHolic one day!
Thank you ❤️ I’m gonna be making a kero plushie for a cosplay competition ❤️❤️
