Free (Crochet) Pattern Friday! Squid Amigurumi

I’m back with another crochet pattern! For you stitchers out there I made a 3rd little sea creature for our jellyfish and octopus friends 🙂 These squids have the classic pointed head with two little side fins (done with half-double and double crochet). Six little small tentacles and two large tentacles finish off the bottom. The pattern contains templates for stitching on angry or happy faces plus cute contrast spots, but you could use safety eyes as well.

And just like the other crochet patterns so far, you can make this with just about 100 yards of yarn. I used DK personally, but bulky yarn looks great too. It really is a catch-all kind of design because it looks good in just about any color. It’s a great use for leftovers — I used up a ton of mine this way ♥. The instructions contain both an illustrated chart and written instructions in case you prefer to follow one over the other.

I hope you all enjoy it!
