Hi everyone!
While I was revamping my old Kitty Purse pattern I thought it might be fun to make a matching wallet to go with it! It’s got the same cute simple kitty ear silhouette with appliqued whiskers that made the original purse so popular.
The inside of the wallet has slots for bills/receipts, 6 credit card pockets, and a pouch built in that’s big enough to hold your phone. But my favorite part is the zipper pouch hidden beneath the ears. It’s perfect for holding coins but also big enough to hold pens and pencils if that’s more your thing.
It goes perfectly with the Kitty Purse, but of course you could add a strap and make it a clutch as well. If you’re revisiting my old Kitty Purse pattern, maybe you’ll give this pattern a look too 😀 I hope you all like it!

Have you tried making this in a minky fabric? I’m wondering how it might turn out.
I haven’t tried yet 😊 Minky is a good bit thicker and not as crisp as the original fabric, so the all the tiny folded pockets would turn out much bulkier and lumpier.
What are the dimensions of the wallet?
It’s about 7½” wide and 4½” tall when folded 😊
