While researching cryptids for the Monthly Crafting Challenge, I kept coming across awesome mysterious animals with strange colors. Like the Maltese Tiger, the Albino Sewer Gator or, in this case, pink dolphins! Of course pink (or albino) dolphins do exist, and seeing them gave me the inspiration to make a simple little dolphin plush.
It’s a perfect hand-held size complete with tiny side and dorsal fins. So it whips up really quickly. It would even work well for hand-sewers because it’s so tiny. It looks good in tons of different colors, (aside from classic pink, of course) so I could easily see this as a popular item for a convention or craft show table. I gave it a 3/10 stars in difficulty with all that in mind. I hope you’ll give it a try!

How sweet! Thank you so much. My quilt guild makes toys for the women’s shelter children. These would be perfect! A lot of the kids leave home with nothing much more than a few cloths. A toy to hang onto that belongs to them is priceless. May we use this pattern for these toys?

I read that we are not allowed to distribute this pattern as our own, however (I’m asking this for all the patterns) are we allowed to make money off of the finished product, if we give u credit for the pattern?
Yes, you definitely are allowed to make money off of items you’ve made with the patterns 🙂 A credit is much appreciated but not absolutely necessary (as I understand sometimes it’s hard to figure out where to do it, like in a craft show setting).

My 9yo daughter wanted to sew a stuffed dolphin for a school project and we found this pattern. Your instruction pdf is wonderful – easy to follow and nicely put together. She hand sewed the dolphin on her own in just a few hours.

Took me 5 hours and it was worth it, it’s adorable. Had to hand sew it all maybe I was just getting distracted, but regardless it’s adorable. I wouldn’t try again tho it’s rlly time consuming xD

Used this one to make a memory stuffy for hubby’s aunt’s birthday. It was my first effort, so I wasn’t perfect, but did better than expected. Can’t wait to give our gift made of our sons’ old baby clothes. Thank you!
