Hello all!
I can’t believe April went by so fast! I was still doing made-to-order hoodies for a while there, but now I’ve switched gears and am entirely in prep-for-Metrocon mode! It’s going to be in Tampa, FL from June 11th-14th and I just know it’s going to be a blast, so I’ll be sure to remind you with more updates as the time gets closer 😀
In other news, I’m also starting to get close to another kiriban goal! If you hop on over to my Deviant Art page you’ll see you guys have nearly gotten me to 150,000 pageviews ^0^ So in the next few months I wager I’ll be doing another giveaway! I hope you’ll stay tuned to find out what it is ^w^
But anyway! Onto plushy business :B For the month of May the new punny food animal sewing pattern you can earn is:
A Root Beer Stoat!
This pun is another one of those that I thought was too silly and cute not to do :3 Of course it’s a combination of the root beer float dessert and a stoat – the adorably crazy cousin of the weasel. So merged together I created a tubby little stoat with root beer float features: including a brown body, vanilla head, whipped cream tail, and all with a cherry on top.
All in all this little guy has a lot of tiny details, so the placement of all those little arms, legs, tail, cherry, ears, etc. can make a difference. So just be warned if you’re taking on this project 😀 Double check your placement as often as possible so you’re happy when the final seams are done.
