Pattern Review: Interweave Knits’ Anouschka Scarf

BubbleScarfWow. This project took sooo incredibly long. But I think it was worth it. This is definitely one of those long time investment type projects. This project is the Anouschka Scarf from Interweave Knits Holiday Gifts 2010 issue. It’s a really cool looking scarf that has multiple looks depending on how you treat it. Pull on the inner cord and it scrunches up the bubbles into these lovely drapey ruffles, our leave the inner cord loose and you get to see the full waves of the bubbles.

Pattern Review: Boutique Knits’ Side Slip Cloche

This project is from a really cute book I picked up at the library, Boutique Knits. This is the cover pattern, the Side Slip Cloche. The whole book is filled with some really adorable patterns, so I would suggest it to anyone else who enjoys this style!

Pattern Review: Vogue Knitting’s Floral Scarf

Red Flower ScarfWoo! Finally had a chance to photograph some of the things I’ve been knitting on the side. This is the Floral Scarf, designed by Nicky Epstein, from the Holiday 2004 issue of Vogue Knitting. I remember buying this magazine from a huge lot of old Vogue Knittings from eBay. It was quite a fun adventure building up my magazine stash like that, so I’m incredibly glad that I got around to finally using the patterns.
