Throwback Thursday! Free Past Embroidery Files ♥

Hey everybody!
I have one last holiday gift to share with you and it’s more embroidery files! I went back and revisited some more free patterns from the past that you all need embroidery files for! You can find the links at the bottom as well as on the original pattern pages ♥

The new additions are:
• The Dolphin plush and Narwhal plush! Even though the eyes are super simple, they’re also small which would explain why I had a lot of requests for an embroidery file. They both fit 4″ x 4″ hoops.
• The Tiny Dino plush! Both the happy smiling face and the cute :3 face are included. Sadly I couldn’t make these fit 4″ x 4″ hoops, but 5″ x 7″ hoops will work fine ♥
• The Kitty Bean plush! This one has 3 different faces 😀 A classic cute face, a sweet face with lashed eyes, and a happy little ‘squee!’ face with scrunched up eyes. The full face fits 5″ x 7″ hoops, but they also include a version without whiskers that fits 4″ x 4″ hoops.
• And finally the Owl plush! This one has the original 3 faces — the heart face, and angular scary face, and the feathered face used in the Owl Bear plush. They all fit 5″ x 7″ hoops too. I tinkered with it so much to try and make a 4″ x 4″ version, but sadly everything was too big. So I tried just making a smaller mini owl instead! So if you have a 4″ x 4″ hoop, you can make these tiny palm-sized owls. The embroidery files include a new shrunk down version of the pattern that you can use with the original instructions 😀 So if you’re into sewing super tiny pieces you might like this project!

Here are the embroidery files for all of the projects mentioned! Each includes instructions to help you through all the stitching 😀 I hope they help your sewing!

Holiday Sale! And New Squirrel Beanie Plush Pattern!

Hello everyone!
I heard from some that they missed my Thanksgiving sale, so I thought I’d run one more sale of the year for those last-minute holiday shoppers ♥

Everything is 10% off, and this time around all small, stocking stuffer kind of items are 20% off 😀 And that’s to celebrate my latest pattern that should be great for a quick gift!

These cute squirrels and sugar gliders! It’s a classic beanie-style plush with a body that’s filled with poly pellets. It makes it tons of fun for tossing around or just holding in your hand.
The twist I’ve given these is that the pieces are super-optimized! If you plan to make these to sell or give, they go really quickly because there’s almost no hand-sewing. It’s only the spot under the neck that needs to be sewn up to close these plushies.

And because they are so tiny, appliqueing the face is even more of a challenge than usual. Safety eyes would of course be a great alternative, but I thought it fair to include some embroidered eyes with the pattern at no extra cost. They fit 4″ x 4″ hoops so no one is left out!

This new pattern will be 30% off during the sale to celebrate the launch! I hope you’ll give it a look if you think it would make a nice gift for someone ♥ And if you snagged a copy, I hope you enjoy it!
Happy holidays everyone!

Free Pattern Friday! Fox Plush

Hello everybody!

It’s crazy to think that after all these years I still haven’t done a fox plush! It’s such a classic animal, but I suppose I wanted to be sure I was giving you all something I hadn’t seen before and is also relatively easy ❤ After a good bit of testing and trials I landed on this design of a tiny little hand-held fox with a big wrapping tail!

The pattern itself doesn’t have a lot of pieces, so the foxes come together rather quickly 😀 To get the curve of the tail, it has some double-ended darts, which is likely the most difficult part. Sewing it won’t look pretty until the tail is finally done 😛 But despite all that I’d still call it a 3/10.

You can sew all the features with fusible web applique or using the embroidery files I’ve included below. In it are the files for the face, which uses applique for the muzzle. There’s also the ears, which has cute little applique fluffs. To make things easier the ears are sewn in-the-hoop – so they’re ready to attach to your head once they come out of the machine! Both files are sized to fit 4” x 4” embroidery hoops too! I hope you all enjoy!

I made some cut & sew versions for Spoonflower too! So you can skip all the applique and embroidery because all the faces and pattern notes are printed right on the fabric ♥ There’s a classic orange and gray fox as well as a fun icy arctic blue and galaxy fox 😀

Free Pattern Friday! Otter Plush

Hey everybody!
I’m fulfilling another highly requested animal today with this sweet huggable otter 😀 I found this one to be tricky to design, since I knew I wanted it lying on its back so it could hold a shell for all to see. But its tail often got in the way of that pose. It took a lot of attempts but I think I like the result!

They don’t have a lot of pieces, so they come together rather quickly. The head and shell are sewn on by hand, so that’s a little tricky, but altogether I’d call it a solid 3/10 in difficulty.
You can sew all the features with fusible web applique or using the embroidery files I’ve included below. The files only need a 4” x 4” hoop! Included is the face as well as the little shell, which has cute little accent lines and is sewn in-the-hoop style to save some time ❤

Halloween sale! Plus more embroidery!

Hey everyone!
I just wanted to pop in and mention I’m having a Halloween sale! With just 2 weeks left, now’s a good time to get started on last minute projects or put in final online orders. The sale runs from October 17th through the 21st. All items are 10% off, and all Halloween items are 20% off — that includes anything wearable, spooky, or that can dress up! It also includes the Steampunk Aviator Cap pattern from last week, so you have a second chance to grab it at a discount!

As an extra bonus, one of my older patterns now has accompanying embroidery!

The Chibi Horror Plush collection can now be sewn with all kinds of embroidered details. This not only includes the faces for all 5 animals, but also in-the-hoop sewing for the tiny Werewolf claws, in-the-hoop sewing for the Zombunny ears, and applique for the skull bunny! The faces also come in standalone versions at loads of different sizes should you want to use them for a different project or just fit things into a smaller hoop. The main point is you don’t have to buy the pattern to use the embroidery and vice versa ❤

The new files are 50% off during the sale, and the partner pattern is 30% off if you don’t own it already 😀

I hope you all enjoy and have some fun Halloween preparation! I know I am!

Free Pattern Friday! Rat Plush

Hi everyone!

Between the people who own cute rats as pets and those noticing that the year after next is the Chinese Year of the Rat, I was getting a lot of suggestions for a rat plush! I thought it might be fun to share it during October so I could do both a sweet version and a scary version like the Owl plush from last year.

So these sweet little rat babies have both a cute face to choose from and a creepy face – complete with bitten ear and eye scar! I’m sure one of them is bound to get you excited to sew ❤

They don’t have a lot of pieces, so they come together rather quickly. The neck is a little tricky so I’ve rated it a 3/10, but it might feel more like a 2 to some.

You can sew all the features with fusible web applique or using the embroidery files I’ve included below. Both faces only need a 4” x 4” hoop, so no one is left out! ❤ I hope you all like it!

And if you’d like to buy the fabric already pre-printed and ready to sew, 4 different designs are available on my Spoonflower page! No embroidery or applique (or even fabric hunting for that matter) needed <3. The group is modeled after Halloween candy! So there’s candy corn, caramel apple, pumpkin, and chocolate (with bat sprinkles ♥)!
