Here are the most requested ideas I received in 2025! A big thanks to my Patreon patrons who helped me narrow down the list and added their own suggestions. They’re split into fanart and non-fanart categories since the fanart characters tend to become free patterns 💖

In these polls, you can choose as many options as you’d like. But if you have a different idea to suggest, feel free to leave a comment down below and I’ll put it on future lists! If you’re curious about what I’ve already made in the past, please do take a look at my detailed search filter. You may find I already have what you’re looking for! I can’t always promise I’ll make the suggestions in the same order as the poll. If it’s a big project it might mean I’ll need to be strategic with my schedule and rearrange how things go.

In the end though, please do remember that the goal of this blog is to celebrate the fun of making things! 🧵 So if your favorite character or franchise might not become a pattern, please know that it doesn’t reflect on whether it’s more or less worthy. Hopefully my huge backlog of previous patterns might help you make it to your goal! Thank you for your suggestions!

  1. Merci de nous permettre de voter. Est ce qu’un jour on aura la chance de voir aussi gizmo? Ça serait vraiment top. Et des héros comme albâtor, capitaine flamme etc
    Belle journée

  2. I voted everything pokemon because my son is a huge fan. I often use plushie patterns to help me with his cosplay creations. The Pokedex is also helpful. So far we’ve done Eevee, Vaporeon and Noctowl. He’s supposed to tell me which one he wants next…

I personally clicked on My Little Pony and Care Bears because as an 80s child that just makes me happy 😊.

Thank you for making these amazing designs.

  3. They’re all amazing, my top choices would be
Haku, Gen 1 MLP, Shadow the Hedgehog

Long equine, long sea animal, eastern dragon backpack, griffin backpack, hummingbird, reindeer.

  4. PixyCreatesOfficial

I’m a bit sad that Therizinosaurus got removed because he’s one of my top favorite dinosaurs, but thankfully the Archaeopterix is still there! I want to say a big thank you because I started sewing plushies because of you❤️ and now it’s been one year since I’ve made my first ever plush which is the Pterodactil one😊 I actually have a YouTube channel where I post my creations, not forgetting to tag you so I can maybe make other people get inspired by you! Your patterns are amazing, even the paid ones are a good deal, I bought the Dumbo octopus and Vampire squid pack recently and I can’t wait to make them, tho I still have a lot more to do😅

  5. fantasticdragon216c069456

Its so exciting to see Ludo on the fan art poll!! Any of these would look incredible in your style!!!

      1. Alright then Cholyknight, let me know if some of those patterns are the Jim Henson’s Animal Jam Characters.

    1. You can subscribe to the blog to be notified as soon as new patterns are uploaded! And Choly has added seven Animal Jam characters to the poll, but odds are low of them being made unless people vote for them.

  6. Hey Cholyknight, it’s me, Unicorn Fairy. Do you need more suggestions from me? Let me know when you get this.

  7. Hey Cholyknight, thank you so much for adding the Jim Henson’s Animal Jam Characters on your Pattern Poll, it means a lot to me. I also hope that one of them gets made into a stuffed animal.

  8. Hey Choly knight. Your patterns give me so much joy! Thank you for making an effort to really tailor to people’s wishes. I think sometimes people take a little for granted how much effort this takes.
Small idea! If you do happen to make shaymin…Maybe you can make a hedgehog design with Shaymin as the back? You’d have two designs for the price of one again 😉 I’m sure the thought already occurred to you but I wanted to mention it anyway. Also! I’m really crossing my fingers for the pangolin design, especially if it manages to stand on its two feet. They’re so cute! And I wouldn’t know where to begin designing it myself. Looking forward to all the new things you’ll be making this year!

  9. Damn I hoped so much for Midna since I started making plushies it would be my dream to make her 🥹 she is so unique and specific I really don’t know how to make the pattern myself 🥲 one day maybe! 💪 can’t wait to see the other patterns !

  10. I love so many of these suggestions! I really hope the penguin one gets voted for! Would you consider making a polar bear or a turtle pattern?

  11. I love your stuff! I don’t see the wisdom in using your limited time and unlimited talent to reinvent the wheel. Characters like Simba, CareBears and Mario can be purchased everywhere. Others, like Raichu, Knuckles and Unicorse are easy enough to frankenstein from your existing patterns and some imagination. Krampus and Mothman have so many different descriptions that they could look like anything. This is not a criticism – I will continue to make most of the patterns you issue and the grandkids love them all. I’m so happy that you have given me a new hobby. (sorry to see that coelacanth fell off the list – time to take my own advice and start frankensteining)

    1. more food types, definitely. basic fruits and vegetables. ramen with various ingredients, bowl and chopsticks.
      Bangboo, from Zenless Zone Zero.
Furby, since it’s coming back. 😀

    2. I agree! She already made a big cats pattern last year and dumbs would be easy to make from that. There are a ton of Teddy bears patterns available too, maybe not for free, but when we pay for a pattern we support the maker.
If nothing else, pattern hacks to what you already have would lighten the load a lot!

  12. I’m excited about the lists, I would also like to suggest a Death Claw (Fallout games/tv series) chibi version of course. :3 Thank you!

  13. Suggestion for a pattern: Pattern hack packs to add horns/wings/different tails/other details to various other patterns or existing plushies. Plush expansion packs, I guess. I know sewing things onto the outside of a plush is hard but that’s exactly why I’d like to see expansion packs with instructions, I would love to have something like that to reference if I want to try adding details to one of my existing plushes.

    1. Good idea, I totally agree. Hairstyles, too. Those usually come with specific clothing expansions, which need a separate type of their own.

  14. Is Winnie the Pooh supposed to be in Non-Fanart? (I voted for him anyway lol, along with some others)

Thank you for all the hard work you put into these patterns, both free and buyable- I’ve learned so much with them over the years.

  15. If Growlithe doesn’t win, I will be so sad, I really want a Growlithe plush and I can’t seem to find any decent patterns. I know you let me down, though, Choly Knight ^^

  16. I voted but I think a Pygmy hippo specifically could be such a cute pattern with the popularity of Moo Deng and Mars Attacks.

    1. Kodama finally made the list!!!!!!
🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 here’s hoping they’ll win at some point this year 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

  17. Super excited to see the dinosaurs that I suggested, and saw a lot of other options as well that I was excited about and happily voted for all of them. Especially the other dog breeds, the cryptids, pokemon, and most of all Scooby. Excited to see how this turns out, and what patterns get picked

  18. Hi there. I absolutely love your patterns! My daughter is wanting me to make her Stormfly, from How To Train Your Dragon, as well as the baby form of the Deadly Nadda. It would be awesome if you released a pattern for these. Thank you

  19. I would love to see Gatomon and all the other Digi-partners from the first one or two seasons of Digimon! Also, have you heard of Sanrio’s Jewelpet? I’d love to see you do some of those! 😀

  20. Hey! Thanks for putting the Bell beast up there! I’m super excited it made it on the poll! All of your free patterns have been super helpful, they are so detailed and clear, it was so generous of you to give them to us for free. I’ve been having a grand time splicing together patterns, then really down sizing them to make palm sized plushies!

  21. Shadow The Hedgehog

Hi! Thank you so much for putting Shadow, Knuckles, Tails and the Chao in the poll, im looking forward to make them

  22. Ahh a little sad there’s no possible doll clothing expansion packs this year. Ik they weren’t popular though, so I get it. Maybe next year! I’ll have to sign up to the Patreon for sure!

  23. Sussi and Derpy (but especially Sussi) from K Pop Demon Hunters. ‘Cause I really need new stuffies on my to do list. I bought the Vampire Squid and haven’t made it yet but I just made a frog and a Sea Bunny and they are SO cute.

      1. I was wondering what you were up to. Maybe your next paid pattern should be one of the Jim Henson’s Animal Jam. (Just an idea.)

      2. Because those characters don’t belong to me, so they aren’t mine to make money from 😊 But it makes it fun to design new characters though 💖

      3. Out of curiosity, from your conversation with Unicorn Fairy, would you do pattern commissions. Say I wanted the Bell Beast, and it doesn’t have enough votes, could I commission you to make a pattern just for me? I don’t know, it feels different from selling created characters to everyone. Hopefully this isn’t just a repetitive question.

      4. Unfortunately I’m not able to take on commissions since designing patterns for this site takes up 100% of my time 😓 I do really appreciate your interest though! I wish I could do more 😅

      5. It’s okay, I completely understand! And it’s so generous of you to spend so much time on this site, and even give us a few free patterns! You’re very talented, and I’ve enjoyed using your patterns so far!

  24. I can’t believe that a designated Haku didn’t turn up earlyer. I always made Hakus out of Your aisian dragon patterns. Especially with the long cuddle dragon I was sad that there was no Haku hack as during that time I’d already dreamed of making a side-sleeping-pillow kinda Haku Plush. So I had to hack it myself. It’s not perfect, but I love it. I think You could make a couple of hacks for those different long dragon plushs instead.

  25. A Mars-Attacs Alien would be totally cool, and a Chowder (not the Soup, the Cartoon Network Serie), a Addams Hand, a Boxtroll, Scraps from Corpse Bride, Courage the cowardly Dog, Creature form the Black Lagoon, a Feejee Mermaid, a Gremlin, Lenore and Ragamuffin, the Orange Bird, a stuffed Tiki for decoration, the Monkey from the Horrorfilm the Monkey, a shrunk Head and last but not leas a Critter from ther Horror Film Serie

  26. Loretto Pérez Pontón

Hi, I hope you are doing well. I wanted to make a sugestion, maybe something like a basket like a picnic one for the cute pushes that are food themed or a more basic one to have like a plushed basked where to put the lap pets or any other pet of your collection, it would be a beautiful way of making a gift that have a lot of plushes (like the Aristocats or the Chinese Zodiac Animals) just a though, I hope you find it useful or inspiring in some way. Anyway I love the options on the list this year! can’t wait for the next project 😉 Thank you so much for all you do and all your hard work

      1. Cool, I hope you’ll do make some Valentine’s Day’s themed Plushies for Valentine’s Day’s.

    1. She has dog patterns that could be very easily edited to be a border collie, especially the dog lap pets one! But also if she did end up doing a border collie specific pattern, I would also be interested tbh
