Hello everyone! I just wanted to pop in and say I’m having a sale for spring! I had planned this like last year, though hopefully the timing this time will help with those of you out there staying safe at home from the current virus spreading around ❤ From now through next Wednesday, the 25th, my whole shop will be 15% off! Also all new … Continue reading Spring Sale! Plus a new Unicorn Backpack Pattern and Free Pattern Hack!
Hello everyone! I’ve got a new pattern that I’ve recently added to my Etsy shop 😀 Last year I did plush backpack of a cute rabbit, fox, and cat. And you guys gave it such a welcome response – thank you so much! But the most common question was whether there would be a dragon version ❤ I’d be crazy not to make one! So … Continue reading New Shop Pattern! Dragon Backpack Plush
A few months ago I finally treated myself to a new tablet, which got me curious about designing a new tablet sleeve 😀 I’ve made them before but I wanted to see if I could do something more tight and compact, but still simple to put together. I really like the result with this one! It’s got some zipper shenanigans, but if you’re okay with … Continue reading Freebie Friday! Tablet Sleeve
The inspiration for this project came from a lot of sources 😀 The idea for a bacon case was one I made for my boyfriend a while back, and I’ve been itching to do it again. And I’m also tucking into my stash of lining fabrics. The lining fabrics sure are tricky. I don’t have enough of them for clothing, which is where they would be best, so I’m left to use them for lining things like pouches and bags. The fabric can be quite slippery so I don’t love using it, so I’ve taken the opportunity to try and devise some tricks while using it so the flimsiness doesn’t affect the project. You’ll see what I mean around step 4.
I knew that I wanted to create a project that combined the bacon and eggs together ^w^ so I thought making a tablet case with a matching egg pouch seemed like a nice fit! The bacon can hold your tablet while the matching egg pouch can hold a small cord, SD card, or maybe your headphones. I personally made this one to fit my Nook Color, though this pattern should also fit other 7” tablets such as the Kindle Fire or iPad mini 😀
Happy Towel Day all you hoopy froods out there! One would hope you all know what I’m saying ^-~ But for those of you who don’t, I suppose I should let my nerd flag fly for a bit here. Today’s project is inspired by the book to rival all books: The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy. “The guide,” as written by the funny late author … Continue reading Happy Towel Day! Bonus Pattern: The Guide Tablet Case
Isn’t this little guy just the cutest? Of course this is an adorable combination of an old school Gameboy mixed with a Mudkip from Pokemon, and I just love the mashup of bright colors with the vintage Nintendo feel! Before you read on, however, I warn that you must prepare yourself. This is probably the most involved project I’ve posted so far, as it has … Continue reading Freebie Friday: The Gamekip Tablet Case
