Free Pattern Friday! Ferret Plush

Hi everyone!
I had a lot of requests for a ferret for the last year or so, so I’m really glad I could finally take a crack at it 😀 It was a lot of fun coming up with a design that showcased the elongated body while still keeping some chibi features. I especially love the tiny feet on the ends of the stumpy legs.

It doesn’t have a lot of pieces, so it comes together quickly. All in all I’ve rated it a 3/10. The only part where I had trouble was cutting the wrong side of the feet to turn them right side out. If you actually pay attention (like I didn’t, haha!) you should have no trouble 😀

You can sew all the features with fusible web applique or using the embroidery files I’ve included below. The face needs at least a 5” x 7” hoop and has a cute applique face mask. Both feet actually fit into a 4” x 4” hoop because they’re so tiny. And since they’re so tiny I also set up the file to sew them in the hoop as well. ❤ I hope you all like it!

And if you’d like to buy the fabric already pre-printed and ready to sew, 4 different designs are available on my Spoonflower page! No embroidery or applique (or even fabric hunting for that matter) needed <3. I did a galaxy and a red panda version that were just too much fun!

New Shop Pattern! Goldfish Plush

Hi everybody!
I’ve got a new pattern that I’ve recently added to my Etsy shop 😀

After doing both an octopus & a jellyfish pattern, I felt the urge to add another creature to complete the sea-life theme. So I made this chubby little goldfish. I had gotten a few requests to do a goldfish before, and so this one has more of a kawaii feel than the Love Koi pair I did a while back.
And like with the octopus and jellyfish, of course I made animal variations! Mostly so I could make a catfish – yes, I went there 😛
As with the others, you have your choice of a cat, rabbit, panda, fox, or alpaca. And it has detailed side, dorsal, and tail fins that really make it look special. Unlike the octopus and jellyfish though, it needs a lot less hand-sewing so it comes together much more quickly.

To celebrate its launch, I’m offering the pattern for 50% off for the first week!
I hope you’ll give it a look! And if you snagged a copy, I hope you enjoy it!
